I personally love [name_f]Petra[/name_f] because [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] or [name_u]Georgie[/name_u] is a name I hear a lot. It does come with the tempting nickname option [name_f]Gia[/name_f]…so I guess it depends on where you are, and how it sounds with your names.

I prefer [name_f]Georgia[/name_f]. I love the nn [name_u]Georgie[/name_u] whether you decide to use that nickname or not [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] would be my favorite still. Its a strong and classic name. My only problem with it is that it is a location name. [name_f]Petra[/name_f] I dont like at all it reminds me of a [name_m]Petri[/name_m] Dish every time. If you dont have that association then id say go for it.

I’m no help as I really like both! I guess I would suggest [name_f]Petra[/name_f] based only on it being less common. Does one or the other sound better with your last name?

[name_f]Petra[/name_f] is my favorite of the two! What a beautiful city to be named after.

Two names I’ve had crushes on at different times of my life, a hard choice! [name_f]Petra[/name_f] was a recent super-crush but once it disappeared it left no trace whereas [name_f]Georgia[/name_f], a teenage crush of mine still has a lingering warmth and sun-drenched softness. So I voted [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] even though it is now quite common.

[name_f]Petra[/name_f] is great because its not very common but [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] sounds nice and its almost a classic choice. [name_f]Pierra[/name_f] could be a name to consider - its kind of an in-between/merged name and it sounds really pretty too.
