Sorry to keep banging on with these names–we’re still having a hard time deciding the name for our our second twin. [name]Vivienne[/name] [name]Gray[/name] (nn [name]Vivi[/name], [name]Gray[/name] is a family name) is the likely candidate for twin 1’s name, so now we’re leaning toward either [name]Philippa[/name] (nn [name]Pippa[/name]/[name]Pip[/name]) or [name]Felicity[/name] (nn Fliss/[name]Flick[/name]) for twin 2. [name]Eve[/name] and [name]Winter[/name] are likely for middles, though [name]Eleanor[/name] is also still in the running. We decided want something longer for a first name since our last name is one syllable and it would sound funny with a one-syllable first as well.
What sort of feel does each name convey, and which goes best with [name]Vivienne[/name] [name]Gray[/name]?
Indeed. Part of the reason I like it is because that twin is super active, and it feels like [name]Pippa[/name] would probably suit her if she means to go on as she’s started out!
I don’t care for [name]Felicity[/name](It’s growing on me though) or [name]Eve[/name]. What about [name]Phillipa[/name] [name]Winter[/name]? That would be beautiful.
I agree that [name]Philippa[/name] [name]Winter[/name] is stunning.
Normally I’m not a fan of [name]Felicity[/name], but [name]Felicity[/name] [name]Winter[/name] is undeniably pretty. [name]Philippa[/name] [name]Eve[/name] is gorgeous too. These are some great pairs! In this case I think both [name]Winter[/name] and [name]Eve[/name] make better middle names than [name]Eleanor[/name].
I like all four names a lot. However, I don’t care for pairing [name]Felicity[/name] with [name]Winter[/name] because [name]Felicity[/name] is a word name and so is [name]Winter[/name].
I love [name]Philippa[/name] with [name]Vivienne[/name], but [name]Winter[/name] with [name]Grey[/name]. If I had to choose I would choose [name]Philippa[/name] [name]Eve[/name], but personally I think [name]Philippa[/name] [name]Winter[/name] fits better with [name]Vivienne[/name] [name]Grey[/name]. As [name]Winter[/name] and [name]Grey[/name] are both unisex word names, where as [name]Eve[/name] is a more established feminine name.
I’m much more a fan of [name]Felicity[/name], which is in my top 10, but as a twin sister for [name]Vivienne[/name], I think I actually prefer [name]Philippa[/name], because they both have double letters near the end. It’s a subtle connection, which I like for twin names.
I love the [name]Felicity[/name] combo, but I agree with mega_muffin that [name]Philippa[/name] sounds better with [name]Vivienne[/name]. I think the end of [name]Philippa[/name] kind of bleeds into the start of [name]Eve[/name] because they’re both vowels, what about using [name]Philippa[/name] [name]Winter[/name]?
I love them both! But I agree that [name]Phillipa[/name] is a slightly better match with [name]Vivienne[/name]. [name]Vivienne[/name] [name]Gray[/name] and [name]Phillipa[/name] [name]Eve[/name] = gorgeous!
[name]Philippa[/name] [name]Eve[/name], I think. I love [name]Felicity[/name] [name]Winter[/name] too but [name]Vivienne[/name] and [name]Philippa[/name] sounds so great together.
[name]Vivienne[/name] and [name]Philippa[/name] are fantastic together. I’ve never been a great fan of [name]Felicity[/name], it feels too frilly for my tastes, but [name]Vivienne[/name] and [name]Philippa[/name] match perfectly. And [name]Vivi[/name] and [name]Pip[/name]/[name]Pippa[/name] would make such cute nicknames.
I’m not a big fan of [name]Philippa[/name] or [name]Felicity[/name], but I like [name]Philippa[/name] much more than [name]Felicity[/name].
I would prefer [name]Philippa[/name] [name]Winter[/name] if that were an option.
