I’ve really began falling in love with the name [name_f]Philippa[/name_f] recently.
[name_m]Just[/name_m] wanted to get some people’s opinons on it.

I like [name_f]Philippa[/name_f] fine though I like [name_f]Phyllida[/name_f] better. Something about little Liddy warms my heart. But I like [name_f]Phillipa[/name_f] too. I think most of the nicknames for it are cute like [name_u]Flip[/name_u] and [name_u]Fee[/name_u].
[name_f]Philippa[/name_f] is peppy and cute although not my style.
I know three [name_f]Philippa[/name_f]'s one is [name_m]Pip[/name_m], one is [name_f]Pippa[/name_f] and the other is [name_f]Philippa[/name_f] so it’s not so weird to me. It’s not my personal style.
I like it quite a bit. It has some vintage charm, has versatile nickname options, and is familiar without being popular. It is peppy and cute for a girl, but completely reasonable on a woman.
My cousin’s name! Although she goes by one of her middles.
I like [name_f]Philippa[/name_f] in full, but [name_f]Pippa[/name_f] is my favourite form of the name by far. I love [name_m]Pip[/name_m] too, and [name_u]Flip[/name_u] is a sweet suggestion. Although I wouldn’t personally use it, I think [name_f]Philippa[/name_f] is a classy, refined name and should get a lot more use than it does.
I think it’s sweet, and I love [name_f]Pippa[/name_f]
It’s one of my new loves!
I really like how it’s kind of vintage, not popular but still familiar, sounds cute and fresh for a little girl, but also works for a grown woman
I like it in it’s full form, but [name_f]Pippa[/name_f], [name_f]Pippi[/name_f] and [name_m]Pip[/name_m] are great nickname options!
I think [name_f]Philippa[/name_f] is a really preppy and pretty name. The nicknames make it very wearable.
I think it’s cute, although not my style. I overheard a little [name_f]Philippa[/name_f] who went by [name_f]Pippa[/name_f] and she was so cute.
I WANT to like [name_f]Philippa[/name_f], I love [name_f]Pippa[/name_f] as a nn, and it would honour my father [name_m]Philip[/name_m], but I just can’t get behind it as a viable choice for myself! There is something about it that just makes me internally cringe. I knew one once in elementary school and she was a perfectly nice girl too, no idea why I can’t warm to this name!
Personally I’m not into Phillippa, to me it feels like [name_m]Philip[/name_m] with an “a” tacked on to the end. However, the nicknames everyone is suggesting are cute, I love [name_m]Pip[/name_m]. I think that middle and last name really affect the quality of a name too , it could probably be more appealing to me in the right setting rather than on its own.
I personally don’t like it. I don’t like [name_m]Phillip[/name_m] on a boy either. I just don’t like the sound of it.
