I voted for [name_m]Phineas[/name_m]. I just can’t picture [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u] past age 20 or so. I also think [name_m]Phineas[/name_m] is a better match for [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] (and a clever one!). I like [name_m]Phineas[/name_m] a lot.

[name_m]Phineas[/name_m]. Naming your kid [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u] is (to me) like getting Chinese characters tattooed on your ankle without bothering to check that the characters mean what you think they mean. It’s just really corny to me unless you know a lot about the mythology behind phoenixes.
