Phoebe and Alfred’s Sister

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] all!

What would you name a sister to
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]
and
[name_m]Alfred[/name_m] [name_u]Robin[/name_u] [name_m]Emanuel[/name_m] nn [name_u]Freddie[/name_u]?

I like [name_f]Sophie[/name_f], [name_f]Maggie[/name_f] and [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], but do you have anything to add?

[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f], [name_m]Alfred[/name_m] and…

[name_f]Constance[/name_f] nn [name_f]Tansy[/name_f]
[name_f]Flora[/name_f]
[name_f]Harriet[/name_f] nn [name_f]Hattie[/name_f]/[name_f]Etta[/name_f]
[name_f]Violet[/name_f]
[name_f]Clara[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]/[name_f]Rosa[/name_f]
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f] nn [name_u]Josie[/name_u], [name_f]Effie[/name_f]
[name_f]Emilia[/name_f] NN [name_f]Emmy[/name_f], [name_f]Millie[/name_f]
[name_u]Eloise[/name_u]
[name_f]Isobel[/name_f]
[name_f]Annabel[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucille[/name_f]

Definitely [name_f]Maggie[/name_f]!

[name_f]Maggie[/name_f] [name_f]Lilac[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u]
[name_f]Maggie[/name_f] [name_f]Rosa[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f]

Other ideas:
[name_f]Maeve[/name_f]
[name_f]Marigold[/name_f]
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f]
[name_f]Maisie[/name_f]
[name_u]June[/name_u]
[name_f]Florence[/name_f]
[name_u]Josie[/name_u]

[name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f]/[name_f]Lucie[/name_f]
[name_f]Margot[/name_f] nn [name_f]Maggie[/name_f] or [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] or both!
[name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f]/[name_f]Gwendolen[/name_f]
[name_f]Blythe[/name_f]
[name_u]Vivian[/name_u]

[name_f]Colleen[/name_f] [name_u]Wynn[/name_u] Appleby

My first thought was [name_f]Edith[/name_f].

[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f], [name_m]Alfred[/name_m] “[name_u]Freddie[/name_u]” and…

[name_f]Mamie[/name_f]
[name_f]Maisie[/name_f]
[name_f]Betsy[/name_f]
[name_f]Florence[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucille[/name_f]/[name_f]Lucy[/name_f]
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f]
[name_f]Nancy[/name_f]
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f]
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f]/[name_f]Tilly[/name_f]
[name_f]Polly[/name_f]
[name_f]Romilly[/name_f]/[name_f]Millie[/name_f]
[name_f]Cecily[/name_f]
[name_f]Elspeth[/name_f]/[name_f]Elsie[/name_f]
[name_f]Sally[/name_f]
[name_f]Sukie[/name_f]
[name_f]Cleo[/name_f]
[name_f]Dora[/name_f]
[name_f]Willa[/name_f]

Both [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] & [name_m]Alfred[/name_m] are “full” names, so to speak, & [name_f]Maggie[/name_f] for me is a nickname, so I’d look for a “full” name that [name_f]Maggie[/name_f] could be a nickname for if [name_f]Maggie[/name_f] was my choice.

Instinctively I picked [name_f]Sophie[/name_f], probably because there are a set of sisters (now in their 20s) named [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] & [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] & I always thought that those names went so well together.

[name_f]Daisy[/name_f] is cute & sweet, but I prefer [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] as I think it ages better as someone grows up.

Apologies for repeats…[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f], [name_m]Alfred[/name_m], &…

[name_f]Silvie[/name_f]
[name_f]Tamsin[/name_f]
[name_f]Gemma[/name_f]
[name_f]Cecily[/name_f]
[name_f]Laurel[/name_f]
[name_f]Iris[/name_f]
[name_f]Linnet[/name_f] or [name_f]Linnea[/name_f]
[name_f]Sara[/name_f]
[name_f]Colette[/name_f]
[name_f]Luisa[/name_f]

[name_f]May[/name_f] I suggest:

[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] {and} [name_f]Daphne[/name_f]

I would choose [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] first. I like the repeated F sounds even though the names themselves don’t sound identical. My second choice would be [name_f]Daisy[/name_f].

I really like [name_f]Maggie[/name_f]! Would you consider [name_f]Margot[/name_f] as a full name? I just think it fits with the sibset a little better. You could also consider [name_f]Marguerite[/name_f], which would give you both [name_f]Maggie[/name_f] and [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] as potential nicknames!

Otherwise:
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f]
[name_f]Freya[/name_f]
[name_f]Mabel[/name_f]
[name_f]Elspeth[/name_f]/[name_f]Elsie[/name_f]
[name_f]Clara[/name_f]
[name_f]Alice[/name_f]
[name_f]Olive[/name_f]
[name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]
[name_f]Marie[/name_f]
[name_f]Edith[/name_f]
[name_f]Honor[/name_f]
[name_f]Iris[/name_f]
