It feels a bit matchy but in a sweet way — they share the ph sound and the ee ending sound but they still sound pretty distinct. I really like them together & I think the shared sounds are a nice connection

We call our [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] “Phoebs” as well! I think [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] and [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] are super cute together!

The matching -ee ending sound is pretty noticable but they sound different enough overall to not get mixed up so I think you’re totally fine.

that’s really sweet!! i think that you should go for it!

it does feel a little too matchy for me - using Sophia instead would solve the problem, and you could still call her Soph, if you’re interested in that idea?

Sounds like you’re attached to it. [name_u]Loving[/name_u] the name is important. I don’t pick names that are matchy or cutesy together. Those will be common comments about this sibset. If that doesn’t bother you too much, go for it. Both names are classics.

[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] and [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] are great together. I don’t think the “ee” sound at the ends of them are too matchy. They’re lovely for sisters.

Plus… [name_f]Soph[/name_f] as a nickname is a huge plus-tick for the name [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] IMO. I just adore that!!

I think they work  I feel like I’ve met sibs [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] and [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] too!

I think that’s a gorgeous combination and not too matchy. Yes, they are a very similar length and letters, but they don’t sound similar in any other way

I actually think they’re perfect together, different sounds despite sharing so many letters. I agree with @venezio that [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] and [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] are even better together (and she could still be Soph/Sophie! Best of all worlds)

[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] and [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] are perfection! I absolutely love!
