Phoebe?

WDYT of [name]Phoebe[/name]? It’s started to really grow on me, love that is a [name]Shakespeare[/name], [name]Salinger[/name], and mythology name, and I love the nickname [name]Bea[/name]. Currently competing with [name]Eliza[/name] as our top girl name. (Our top boy name is [name]Theodore[/name]),

I don’t like the [name]Shakespeare[/name] reference … I don’t know if there’s a [name]Phoebe[/name] in more than one play, but I read “As You Like It” and HATED the character … I won’t go in depth, because there’s a lot I could say about the character.

ANYWAYS, I really love the name [name]Phoebe[/name] <3 I think it started with the Magic School Bus for me :slight_smile: Not sure how I feel about Bea, but it’s not horrible.

[name]Love[/name] [name]Phoebe[/name] and all it’s references too :slight_smile: Definitely in my top FIVE!

I love [name]Phoebe[/name] too, it’s been one of my top two girl names for years. I wasn’t aware of the [name]Shakespeare[/name] reference as I’ve not read ‘As You Like It’, but now I know that I’m loving it even more. It’s feminine but not overly frilly, and is cute on a baby but works well on an adult too.

I love [name]Phoebe[/name]…so cute

I love [name]Phoebe[/name], it goes great with your other top names. I could see a [name]Phoebe[/name] being a sibling to an [name]Eliza[/name] or [name]Theodore[/name]. And the mythology/[name]Salinger[/name]/Shakespere references are great. [name]Just[/name] icing on the cake.

I like [name]Phoebe[/name] a lot! I like [name]Bea[/name] better than [name]Fee[/name]/Fi, but I prefer just [name]Phoebe[/name]. I do like [name]Eliza[/name] more than [name]Phoebe[/name], though. :slight_smile: What about [name]Eliza[/name] [name]Phoebe[/name]? Or [name]Phoebe[/name] [name]Eliza[/name]?

Phoebe Eliza is one of the combos I am playing with!
and Eliza Phoebe…
The 2nd MN would be Charlotte.

Phoebe is IMHO a great name as it fits in well with popular names like Chloe, Sophie and Zoe yet it isn’t as overly trendy (yet…).! It is classic, well known and spunky yet sweet. I like the nns like Bea/ Fee.
Much the same could be said for the name Eliza- it matches well with popular names like Sophia, Isabella, Ella and Mia. I have been considering Ella as a possible nn for Eliza.

I love [name]Phoebe[/name]! And [name]Phoebe[/name] [name]Eliza[/name] is one of my combos, I think it’s such an adorable name which isn’t that common where I live. A few other mn I’ve been toying with are;

[name]Phoebe[/name] [name]Elsa[/name] ([name]Love[/name] the name but afraid it sounds to much like ulcer)
[name]Phoebe[/name] [name]Lucille[/name]
[name]Phoebe[/name] [name]Amelia[/name]
[name]Phoebe[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name]

[name]LOVE[/name] [name]Phoebe[/name]! It’s also in my top five. It seems to get a lot of love on these boards too.
