I’m just thinking ahead - I’ve just realised that I have no girl name picked out for future hypothetical child haha.
I have two boys called [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u] and [name_m]Casper[/name_m] and if I were to have another boy at this stage I’d call him [name_u]Henley[/name_u]. Any ideas for a girl? I had [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] and [name_u]Indigo[/name_u] picked out for girls during my last two pregnancies but those names are both a little too popular for my liking now.

Is [name_u]Indigo[/name_u] really that commonly used now? I’m surprised
[name_u]Indigo[/name_u] does rank in the top 1000 in [name_f]England[/name_f]/[name_m]Wales[/name_m] for girls, but it isn’t popular, definitely no more than [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u]. I think it works with [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u] and [name_m]Casper[/name_m], which are both awesome by the way.

I like [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] a lot! Another name I really like with that feel is [name_f]Bardot[/name_f] (bar-doh). It’s like [name_f]Margot[/name_f] but not as popular. It also has the same sound as [name_u]Indigo[/name_u], so I feel like it’d be a good fit!
I didn’t think [name_u]Indigo[/name_u] was that popular. Certainly it isn’t common, even if it is in the top 1000, and it works beautifully with [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u] and [name_m]Casper[/name_m]! Awesome names, btw!
Sorry everyone, I didn’t write that too well. [name_u]Indigo[/name_u] isn’t very popular, but I see ‘[name_f]Indi[/name_f]/e’ quite a bit, I know 4 girls called [name_f]Indi[/name_f]/e or [name_u]Indiana[/name_u] and I could see [name_u]Indigo[/name_u] getting shortened immediately.
I just thought I’d clarify that, now I’ll go back and have a proper look at the other suggestions haha.
