Please help! Want to name my baby boy [name_m]Phelix[/name_m] or [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u]. Which do you prefer?
I prefer [name_m]Felix[/name_m], but if you are determined to use [name_m]Phelix[/name_m], I vote for [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u].
[name_m]Phelix[/name_m] but it looks like a spelling error so I would only use [name_m]Felix[/name_m].

[name_m]Phelix[/name_m] is made-up. I would go with [name_m]Felix[/name_m] or [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u]/[name_m]Phenix[/name_m]. I love both names!

If [name_m]Phelix[/name_m] was spelt [name_m]Felix[/name_m], I’d vote for that, but as it is spelt with the ‘Ph’, my favourite changes to [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u].
[name_m]Phelix[/name_m] I would spell [name_m]Felix[/name_m], if that’s what you want, but either way I much prefer [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u]. Absolutely brilliant name with fantastic mythology associations. I personally love [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u]!

[name_m]Phelix[/name_m] looks made up, [name_m]Felix[/name_m] is a much nicer spelling.
I agree that [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u] seems feminine to me–I really love [name_m]Felix[/name_m], but definitely not [name_m]Phelix[/name_m].

I agree with all other posters about the spelling. I wouldn’t worry about [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u] being girly. I associate it with the [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u] actors - [name_m]Joaquin[/name_m] and [name_u]River[/name_u] being the most famous and both male.
