This is one of the few names that really does seem truly unisex for me. I’d be equally likely to use it on a boy or a girl.
All boy to me, although I’ve met a little girl named [name]Phoenix[/name].

The prefix Phoe- part makes sense, but didn’t the name [name]Phoebe[/name] come from the male name [name]Phoebus[/name] anyway? Not really important, just a thought because I’m really not sure anyway. [name]Phoenix[/name] is male for me, but if I met a little girl named [name]Phoenix[/name] (other than the initial coolness-shock of the name itself) I wouldn’t be surprised or anything.
I actually think it sounds girly, I’m surprised so many people said boy. But I defiantly think a boy can pull it off so I’d say it’s unisex.
I hate the thought of this name on a girl, sorry. I love [name]Phoenix[/name] for a boy and it never seemed like a very good unisex name to me.
I actually think it’s useable on either or. I know adorable [name]Phoenix[/name]'s in both genders.
