Which do you prefer and why?

Because gia could be short for a number of things. [name_f]Giana[/name_f]. [name_f]Giovana[/name_f]. Maybe [name_f]Georgia[/name_f].
[name_f]Mila[/name_f] is its stand alone name. Less common and beautiful.

[name_f]Mila[/name_f] for me! [name_f]Gia[/name_f] is nice but I prefer [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] or Giovanna/Gianna.

i love both but i just prefer mila!
I love [name_f]Mila[/name_f] so much but it is quite popular and appears to still be rising. [name_f]Gia[/name_f] is also pretty so I’d say go with that if popularity bothers you, otherwise I prefer [name_f]Mila[/name_f].
[name_f]Gia[/name_f] is adorable! I’ve personally never cared for the sound of [name_f]Mila[/name_f], but it’s fine.

[name_f]Mila[/name_f] works better as a standalone name, [name_f]Gia[/name_f] sounds a bit too nicknamey for me
Mila is just so pretty
Gia feels more like a nn to me
I think I prefer [name_f]Mila[/name_f] for me just because it has more positive connotations than [name_f]Gia[/name_f] but they are both lovely names in their own right

[name_m]Just[/name_m] personally, I have known a few Gia’s in my life and I have some negative associations with them so personally I prefer [name_f]Mila[/name_f] (:

Mila!! I love [name_f]Gia[/name_f] as a nickname for names like [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] and [name_f]Gianna[/name_f], but it feels incomplete on its own. [name_f]Mila[/name_f] could be short for [name_f]Camila[/name_f], but it feels whole all on its own! Best of luck!!
