Hello

Which name do you prefer among these: [name_f]Alana[/name_f], [name_f]Kaia[/name_f], Taia, [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] … this is my second daughter and her older sister is called [name_f]Ayla[/name_f] (pronounced eye-la) … also do you think the name Kaïa can be bullied as in our language they say it sounds like kaka (which basically means poop) … I don’t think it does at all but it still worries me !

i think ayla & sophia/sophie is a lovely sister set!

kaia doesn’t sound like kaka to me, and honestly kids will always find ways to tease if they want to. so if you love it, i say go for it!

While [name_f]Kaia[/name_f] is my favorite of the names you listed (and I don’t think teasing is a problem at all!), it does sound similar to [name_f]Ayla[/name_f] to me. I really like [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] for you because it has the most distinct sounds!

I love [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] for your sibset

[name_f]Sophia[/name_f] gets my vote!

[name_f]Sophia[/name_f] for your sibset

[name_f]Kaia[/name_f] is my favorite out of the names you list and I don’t think it sounds like kaka at all, but I do think it sounds way too similar to [name_f]Ayla[/name_f]. I also like [name_f]Alana[/name_f] but I think that is too similar to [name_f]Ayla[/name_f] as well. I would say [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] would be a beautiful name that goes well with [name_f]Ayla[/name_f].

[name_f]Ayla[/name_f] and [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] would be a lovely set!

[name_f]Sophia[/name_f] is my favourite! It sounds soft and sweet. [name_f]Kaia[/name_f] is sweet and I don’t think it sounds too much like kaka (which means poop in my language too!)

I think Sophia sounds best with Ayla! Kaia is pretty too, but it sounds a bit similar to Ayla just to me. :relaxed:

[name_f]Alana[/name_f] is my favorite.

[name_f]Ayla[/name_f] & [name_f]Alana[/name_f] :heartbeat:

[name_f]Ayla[/name_f] and [name_f]Alana[/name_f] are lovely together

I prefer [name_f]Sophia[/name_f]. The name Kaïa can be used as a reason to bully but I don’t think it’s very likely.

Hmm… I said [name_f]Kaia[/name_f] over [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] on your other post but know I know that you pronounce [name_f]Ayla[/name_f] “EYE-la”, I think [name_f]Kaia[/name_f] might just be a big too close in sound.

[name_f]Sophia[/name_f] gets my vote… [name_u]Or[/name_u] how about [name_f]Sia[/name_f] or [name_f]Fia[/name_f]? Both have Kaia’s brightness and spunkiness and share sounds with [name_f]Sophia[/name_f], but feel a bit fresher.

[name_f]Sophia[/name_f]! I kinda always had a pull for [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] for you I just never got around to answering yet. But like @katinka said knowing Ayla’s pronunciation it makes [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] the clear winner to me.

I love all your names! Unfortunately I think they all sound really similar to [name_f]Ayla[/name_f] except [name_f]Sophia[/name_f]! How do you feel about Lana?!

I love [name_f]Kaia[/name_f] - I never connected it to the word “kaka” and I don’t think that anyone will. [name_f]Ayla[/name_f] and [name_f]Kaia[/name_f] sounds lovely together and not similar in my opinion

I like [name_f]Kaia[/name_f] (Kai-ah) but [name_f]Kaia[/name_f] and [name_f]Ayla[/name_f] (eye-la) sound to similar for me. Other then that I would go with [name_f]Alana[/name_f]

If you like [name_f]Alana[/name_f] what about [name_f]Amara[/name_f], [name_f]Anara[/name_f] it [name_f]Anora[/name_f]

kaia or alana!!! I absolutely LOVE kaia and it never gets the recognition it deserves (although I do prefer the kaya spelling)

[name_f]Alana[/name_f], [name_f]Kaia[/name_f], and Taia all seem too close to [name_f]Ayla[/name_f] for my taste. [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] makes a lovely sister set for [name_f]Ayla[/name_f] though!
