I voted for [name]Maeve[/name], [name]June[/name], and [name]Blythe[/name] to go with [name]Louisa[/name]. I like the flow of a one syllable middle best. I’d like to add [name]Louisa[/name] [name]Joy[/name] to my vote, too. The more I think about it, the more I like [name]Louisa[/name] [name]Joy[/name].
I voted for [name]Corrine[/name] and [name]Blythe[/name] both are gorgeous! I think [name]Louisa[/name] [name]Corinne[/name] is simply perfection though
[name]Corinne[/name] has the wonderful French accent on the second syllable, which sounds marvelous when paired with 3-syllable [name]Louisa[/name]. That’s why [name]Corinne[/name] works and [name]Charlotte[/name] falls flat.
Nothing starting with a vowel pairs with [name]Louisa[/name]-- so eliminate [name]Iris[/name] and [name]Alice[/name].
Nothing with three syllables-- eliminate [name]Violet[/name].
All the monosyllabic options are great, but I especially liked [name]Blythe[/name], [name]Maeve[/name] and [name]June[/name].
Therefore I voted for four. In order of preference: [name]Corinne[/name], [name]Blythe[/name], [name]Maeve[/name], [name]June[/name].
I like [name]Louise[/name] [name]June[/name] best.
I really like the sound of [name]Louisa[/name] [name]Maeve[/name], but it reminds me of [name]Louisa[/name] [name]May[/name] [name]Alcott[/name], which is fine… I guess.
[name]Louisa[/name] [name]Corinne[/name] is my absolute favorite. It’s gorgeous. [name]Maeve[/name] would be next on my list, but dovah does make an interesting point about its similarity to the famous [name]Louisa[/name] [name]May[/name].
I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Louisa[/name] as a full name for [name]Lucy[/name]. I’ve been pushing for it with hubby for years, but he has no vision for vintage names. I voted [name]Louisa[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name], [name]Louisa[/name] [name]Violet[/name] and [name]Louisa[/name] [name]June[/name].
I have to agree that I think I like the one syllable names with [name]Louisa[/name] best. I do like [name]Louisa[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name], [name]Louisa[/name] [name]Violet[/name] and [name]Louisa[/name] [name]Corinne[/name] too. hmm…
With that pronunciation I think my favorite is [name]Louisa[/name] [name]Joy[/name]. But if you love the name [name]Lucy[/name], I would just name her [name]Lucy[/name]. [name]Lucy[/name] [name]Corinne[/name] is beautiful! I also love [name]Corinne[/name] as a first name…you have a great short list!
Thanks so much for all the help. [name]Lucy[/name] is my favorite, and I thought it would be what we named our first. However when [name]Annabelle[/name] was born she didn’t look like a [name]Lucy[/name] to us. It took two days to give her a name. This time I want to be prepared with a few options and variations. I hope one will fit then. Let’s hope we don’t have that problem if we have a boy, since we have just one name.
I like [name]Charlotte[/name] and [name]Alice[/name], but that’s a lot of name with [name]Louisa[/name]. My niece, however, is [name]Lucy[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name]. Like the sound of [name]Louisa[/name] [name]June[/name], but then keep saying [name]Louisa[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
Of the choices my favorites are [name]Louisa[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] and [name]Louisa[/name] [name]Joy[/name]. [name]Louisa[/name] is just such a beautiful stand out name!! Having said that, I also adore [name]Lucy[/name], and if that is what you love you should use it!! It is so pretty!!
I actually really like the idea of [name]Lucy[/name] for [name]Louisa[/name]. [name]Louisa[/name] [name]Blythe[/name] was my favourite of your options. I agree with someone else that [name]Louisa[/name] shouldn’t be followed with a vowel middle. I found [name]Louisa[/name] [name]Alice[/name] and [name]Louisa[/name] [name]Iris[/name] a bit of a mouthful.
