Pick two: Anthony, Francis, Nicholas?

I love all names but can only pick two for my twins. Which two are our favorites

[name_m]Anthony[/name_m] and [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] get my vote. Never been fond of [name_u]Francis[/name_u].

[name_m]Will[/name_m] you always use full names or is it likely you’ll shorten them ([name_u]Tony[/name_u], AJ [every [name_m]Anthony[/name_m] I know happens to go by AJ], [name_u]Frankie[/name_u], [name_m]Frank[/name_m], [name_u]Nick[/name_u], [name_u]Nico[/name_u], [name_m]Cole[/name_m])?

I really like all the combos of these full names; nicknames would probably decide it for me if you expected to use nn. For instance, I prefer [name_u]Tony[/name_u] and [name_u]Nico[/name_u] to [name_u]Tony[/name_u] and [name_u]Frankie[/name_u]. And I ultimately prefer the nicknames for [name_u]Francis[/name_u] and [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] more than those for [name_m]Anthony[/name_m], so I’d go with [name_u]Francis[/name_u] & [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m], [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] and [name_u]Nick[/name_u]/[name_u]Nico[/name_u].

I like [name_m]Anthony[/name_m] and [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] because they share the N sound but otherwise don’t sound too similar. [name_u]Francis[/name_u] and [name_m]Anthony[/name_m] both have a strong an- sound, and [name_u]Francis[/name_u] and [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] both have the -s ending.

I like [name_m]Anthony[/name_m] and [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] the most. [name_u]Francis[/name_u] has always seemed a bit old-mannish to me, while I can easily imagine the other two names on men and boys of all ages.

I love [name_u]Francis[/name_u], but I’m not a fan of either of the others. If I had to pick, I’d choose [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m].

I love [name_u]Francis[/name_u], it is my youngest son’s name, but honestly I vote for [name_m]Anthony[/name_m] and [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] because I think they make a better pair.
