Picking a boy name

I am having a hard time picking a boy name… I thought I was having a girl and had [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] all picked out. I am not having such luck w boy names… Please let me know what you like best. Middle name for sure is [name_m]Riccardo[/name_m].

I will say one thing first of all which is [name_m]Dominic[/name_m]'s initials would be D.R. Lastname (like doctor) and [name_m]Matteo[/name_m]'s would be M.R. (like Mr.), which personally I would avoid but if it doesn’t bug you then those are fine names :slight_smile:

My favorite from your choices is [name_m]Lucas[/name_m]! I like the flow of 2 syllable [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] with 3 syllable [name_m]Riccardo[/name_m] and the repeating C sounds in the middle sound great together.

My favourites are [name_m]Dominic[/name_m] and [name_m]Matteo[/name_m]. I really don’t see an issue with the DR and MR initials. Have you considered [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] or maybe you would like to save [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] for a possible daughter one day? I also like [name_m]Mathias[/name_m] for you.

My favourite is [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] [name_m]Riccardo[/name_m], because it has a satisfying rhythm, making the name sound powerful and strong. And of the first names individually, I’m torn between [name_m]Dominic[/name_m] and [name_m]Lucas[/name_m], but I like [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] [name_m]Riccardo[/name_m] better than [name_m]Dominic[/name_m] [name_m]Riccardo[/name_m].

Great boy names. My fave is [name_m]Dominic[/name_m], closely followed by [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] & [name_m]Matteo[/name_m].

My vote is for [name_m]Dominic[/name_m] or [name_m]Matteo[/name_m]. They are familiar, but not too popular. Both flow well with [name_m]Riccardo[/name_m] and have a similar vibe

Four really great names! My only concern about [name_m]Matteo[/name_m] [name_m]Riccardo[/name_m] is that it’s a bit matchy to have 2 o-ending names, but if that doesn’t bother you then it’s not a deal breaker. I really like [name_m]Dominic[/name_m] and [name_m]Roman[/name_m]. [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] is really nice but probably the most common of the four - I don’t know how that affects your decision?

I think [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] [name_m]Riccardo[/name_m] is your best option.

All four names are great, but I don’t really like [name_m]Matteo[/name_m] and [name_m]Roman[/name_m] with [name_m]Riccardo[/name_m] (too sing-songy and repeating, respectively).

I like the other two names pretty equally, but prefer [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] slightly more.
