Pierre?

Heard this name for a baby recently! Thoughts? Too old-fashioned or ready for a comeback?

I think [name_m]Pierre[/name_m] could come back - it has flair

i think it depends on where you live? in english-speaking spaces, pierre feels very stereotypically french, like the go-to example for a french man’s name. so i personally don’t expect it to rise in popularity in english-speaking countries soon, but since it’s such a classic i definitely could see it gaining popularity in french-speaking countries again!

I agree with this. Makes it a bit more dog/cat name territory

Very beautiful and distinguished name if you are or francophone heritage. If not, it does to some extent leave the human territory and enter the pet territory.

Not my style. I prefer [name_m]Pedro[/name_m], of a similar style.

I live in the us and know a 20-something Pierre. I go to college with him

Side note: he is not French (i think)
