In 1838, [name_m]Joseph[/name_m] married his beloved [name_f]Sophia[/name_f]. They had two beautiful children, but tragedy struck at the birth of their third child. The child, a boy, was stillborn, and [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] lost too much blood. Since then, he has focused on raising his two children, [name_m]Doc[/name_m] and [name_f]Aggie[/name_f]. As of recently, both [name_m]Joey[/name_m] and [name_m]Doc[/name_m] have fallen ill. [name_m]Doc[/name_m] with diphtheria and [name_m]Joey[/name_m] with pneumonia, both appear to be on the mend, though.
Since Sophia’s death, Joey’s attention has been on the children and his youngest siblings and not much on the farm work. [name_m]William[/name_m] has taken up much of the farm work in his brother’s absence. [name_m]Willie[/name_m] married the neighbor’s daughter, [name_f]Charity[/name_f], about 4 years ago. So far, they have had one beautiful little girl named [name_f]Millicent[/name_f], after Charity’s late mother. They have since taken in Hank’s newborn after both [name_m]Hank[/name_m] and his wife, [name_f]Sally[/name_f], have since tragically passed.
[name_m]Hank[/name_m] fell in love with his childhood friend, [name_f]Sally[/name_f] and two years ago they were married. A year prior, hank had secured an apprenticeship with a local carpenter and was doing very well. However about a year ago he was injured at work, and, due to improper care, it became infected and claimed his life, leaving behind his pregnant wife. She moved in with [name_m]Willie[/name_m] and his wife for the duration of her pregnancy. She gave birth a healthy baby boy named [name_m]Harold[/name_m], [name_m]Hal[/name_m] for short. Sadly, [name_f]Sally[/name_f] suffered significant blood loss during the difficult birth, and passed, leaving her newborn baby orphaned.
