Piper and Sabrina as sisters?

The name [name]Sabrina[/name] has really grown on me lately and is currently at the top of my list for a future girl. I already have a [name]Boston[/name] and [name]Piper[/name] and I love the balance that [name]Sabrina[/name] gives to the set.

Problem? Neither name was chosen for this, but [name]Piper[/name] and [name]Sabrina[/name] both have 90’s TV witch references ([name]Sabrina[/name] the Teenage Witch and Charmed). Is this too much? Is it a deal breaker?

Other names that top both DH’s and my list are:
[name]Lennox[/name]
[name]Annabel[/name]
[name]Scarlett[/name]
[name]Avalon[/name]
[name]Arden[/name]
[name]Fable[/name]

I don’t think it would be the first thing someone thought of when they met your children. Of course, I was born in 2000, and I’ve never seen those shows so I don’t know how strong the connection is between them for everyone else. Other than that I think you’ll be fine. [name]Scarlett[/name] is one of my favorites on your list.

Go for [name]Sabrina[/name]. Really beautiful yet uncommon. It’s a name I’d love to see being used again. I agree that it gives balance to set. I don’t think that the TV reference is a big deal at all. When I hear [name]Sabrina[/name], it does remind me of the TV show but I don’t see it as something negative.

I have seen both of those shows and wouldn’t have made the connection!

Maybe [name]Sabine[/name] or [name]Serena[/name] if you feel it’s strange

I didn’t even make the connection until you mentioned it. I wouldn’t worry about it.

[name]Don[/name]'t worry about it at all. Like a previous poster, I’ve seen both shows, but definitely didn’t make the connection. [name]Piper[/name] is so spunky! I love flowy, witchy [name]Sabrina[/name] as a way to balance it.

I did notice it right away, but I don’t think it’s a dealbreaker.

Thanks everyone. It took me awhile of playing around with the names before I thought of the connection too, so I’m glad it’s not the first thing that comes to everyone else’s mind too.

Me either! [name]Sabrina[/name] and Pioer are adorable together!

Well, I’ll admit the witch thing was the first thing I thought of (and honestly didn’t expect you to mention it). But I think its the connection that draws them together and makes it a great set. I think [name]Sabrina[/name] and [name]Boston[/name] go together less, but that’s OK.

[name]Sabrina[/name] is one of those names that I dont have any strong emotions for. I dont love it and I dont hate it. [name]Scarlett[/name], [name]Avalon[/name] and
[name]Fable[/name] seem to be better fits with [name]Piper[/name] and [name]Boston[/name]. They are all cute and spunky names, just like [name]Piper[/name] and [name]Boston[/name]. [name]Sabrina[/name] just falls flat a little bit ([name]IMO[/name])

Thanks! I can absolutely see that viewpoint. I felt the same way about [name]Sabrina[/name] for years. Recently, it’s just really jumped out at me. Maybe it’s fleeting and will pass, but for now I see spunkiness and frilliness all in one little package. We shall see.

[name]Scarlett[/name] is probably my second favorite, but it’s my husband’s least favorite of his favorites - if that makes sense.

I’m finding it difficult to find things to go with [name]Boston[/name] too. I really boxed myself in choosing [name]Boston[/name] and then even more so with [name]Piper[/name]. I feel like [name]Piper[/name] is somewhat flexible, but paired with [name]Boston[/name] you really can’t stray too far from that “genre” of names.

Hmm…

What about
[name]Boston[/name], [name]Piper[/name] and [name]Siena[/name]
[name]Boston[/name], [name]Piper[/name] and [name]Sydney[/name]
[name]Boston[/name], [name]Piper[/name] and [name]Stella[/name]
[name]Boston[/name], [name]Piper[/name] and [name]Sadie[/name]
[name]Boston[/name], [name]Piper[/name] and [name]Sage[/name]
[name]Boston[/name], [name]Piper[/name] and [name]Auden[/name]
[name]Boston[/name], [name]Piper[/name] and [name]Willow[/name]
[name]Boston[/name], [name]Piper[/name] and [name]Everly[/name]
[name]Boston[/name], [name]Piper[/name] and [name]Quinn[/name]
