Thoughts on [name_u]Piper[/name_u] for a girl name? We want something spunky and sassy yet girly but not overly feminine.
I like [name_u]Piper[/name_u] and I think it fits your criteria. It might be slightly trendy but I like it a lot.
I like [name_u]Piper[/name_u], but I prefer [name_f]Pippa[/name_f] for something spunky but a bit more classic, or [name_u]Fifer[/name_u] for something modern-sounding like [name_u]Piper[/name_u] but less overused.
I really dislike [name_u]Piper[/name_u], but it does fit your requirements. Suggestions:
[name_f]Margot[/name_f]
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]
[name_f]Ramona[/name_f]
[name_f]Maxine[/name_f]
I love @southern.maple’s suggestion of [name_u]Fifer[/name_u].
It leads associations AWAY from pipes.
I actually disagree with this. [name_u]Fifer[/name_u] to me describes a person who is playing a fife, whereas [name_u]Piper[/name_u] is widely recognized as a name so if I was introduced to a [name_u]Piper[/name_u] I would associate it as a name first. Not that I think either is bad (though I do prefer [name_u]Piper[/name_u]) I just think that [name_u]Fifer[/name_u] has a stronger association to an object or occupation than [name_u]Piper[/name_u] does.
[name_u]Piper[/name_u] isn’t particularly my style but I do think it’s a fun, spunky name and a nice choice. I also think [name_u]Pepper[/name_u] is a cute option.
[name_u]Fifer[/name_u] is adorable! I cannot stand the nn Pipes like [name_f]Michaela[/name_f] said…
