Planning #3 but no name!

I am a long time reader of the forums but first time forum user :slight_smile:
We are planning on having a another bub to add to our growing family. But my husband has vetoed every name thrown out there and I have told him if thereā€™s no name theres no bub! :wink:
Seriously, though we are stuck. We have two babes already. [name]Alice[/name] [name]Heather[/name] and [name]Harry[/name] [name]George[/name]. Middle names are family names. There are some rules though with your help :).

  1. No names starting with S, K, A, H.
  2. Boys middle name will be either [name]Weston[/name] (to acknowledge my maiden name)
  3. Girls middle name will be [name]Christine[/name] (my [name]MIL[/name] name)
  4. My husband will veto anything that is ā€œweirdā€ so we need to stick to classic, strong names.

The only names he didnā€™t hate (but still disliked) are [name]Oscar[/name], [name]Charlie[/name] (b) and [name]Maggie[/name].

My parents are [name]Harry[/name] and [name]Alice[/name]! :slight_smile: I love [name]Weston[/name]. It is on our list and I canā€™t decided if I want it for a first or middle. I love the suggestion of [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Christine[/name] or [name]Rhys[/name] [name]Weston[/name]. Good luck!

I like many of the names, but some have been tossed around already. Out of your boys names, Iā€™m a big fan of [name]Frederick[/name], as I think the nn [name]Freddie[/name] is adorable. Itā€™s funny how you listed both my father and FIL names! They are both not options though, as we have decided to stick to [name]Weston[/name] as the family option in the name this time. Otherwise, if they arenā€™t already ā€œtakenā€ by family or close friends, husband has already said no.

Your girl names are lovely too. I have already thrown in the options of [name]Georgia[/name], [name]Lucy[/name], [name]Rose[/name]. The ones that really jump out though are [name]Nora[/name], [name]Willa[/name] and [name]Tessa[/name]. We already know too many Mollys and Emmas and we had a baby [name]Ivy[/name] into the family recently too. Otherwise, all other names have been given a resounding ā€œnoā€ from the daddy :slight_smile:

Really?! Thatā€™s so lovely. [name]Alice[/name] was my pick and [name]Harry[/name] was my husbands pick (though [name]Harry[/name] was the only name that he ever wanted so I actually had no choice. Hahaha :)). You will see below that [name]Ivy[/name] is out due to a recent addition. Though [name]Rhys[/name]/[name]Reese[/name] is quite gorgeous. Not sure if husband will go for it as he has a very good friend named [name]Rhys[/name] and my daughters most favourite presenter on Play School in Aus is [name]Rhys[/name] :slight_smile:
