So many wonderful names! I love:

[name_f]Annora[/name_f] and [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]
[name_f]Annora[/name_f] and [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f]
[name_f]Annora[/name_f] and [name_f]Verity[/name_f]
[name_f]Annora[/name_f] and [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]
[name_f]Annora[/name_f] and [name_f]Mirabel[/name_f]
[name_f]Annora[/name_f] and [name_u]Vivien[/name_u] (prefer [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f])

[name_f]May[/name_f] I suggest:

[name_f]Annora[/name_f] and [name_f]Millicent[/name_f]
[name_f]Annora[/name_f] and [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Annora[/name_f] and [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f]
[name_f]Annora[/name_f] and [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f]
[name_f]Annora[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosamond[/name_f]
[name_f]Annora[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosalinda[/name_f]
[name_f]Annora[/name_f] and [name_f]Sophia[/name_f]
[name_f]Annora[/name_f] and [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]
[name_f]Annora[/name_f] and [name_f]Mariella[/name_f]
[name_f]Annora[/name_f] and [name_f]Tatiana[/name_f]

[name_f]Annora[/name_f]/[name_f]Annie[/name_f] and (i chose) [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]. I would not use Sephie as a nn, but I would consider [name_m]Joe[/name_m], [name_u]Joey[/name_u], [name_u]Josie[/name_u], Jeph, or [name_f]Sophie[/name_f]. I would think about [name_f]Josephina[/name_f], with [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] as a nn option as well. Maybe even [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] as a nn option.

All of these are lovely options! Your children have excellent names

I voted [name_f]Mirabel[/name_f] as I love the name with your other two, but [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] was a close second and I love the nn Sephie

I love [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] with [name_f]Annora[/name_f]. I think [name_u]Jules[/name_u] and [name_f]Annie[/name_f] are darling together and definitely sound like sisters.

[name_f]Annora[/name_f] [name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] and [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] [name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Hugh[/name_m] are lovely! I think if they’re in honour of someone you could get away with using [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] even if you have [name_f]Mary[/name_f] as a middle name. I wouldn’t use [name_m]Hugh[/name_m] twice though.

[name_f]Verity[/name_f]- I love [name_f]Verity[/name_f]! Classic and vintage and spunky. I don’t think you really need a nickname but if you want one, what about [name_f]Rita[/name_f]? And nicknames don’t have to be based off the name either, especially when they’re young- it can be based on personality traits like [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] if she’s always smiling.

[name_f]Juliet[/name_f]- it’s quite “pretty” and romantic, but I love it. I think it goes wonderfully with [name_f]Annora[/name_f]. Nicknames could be [name_u]Julie[/name_u], [name_f]Lili[/name_f] (lee-lee), [name_f]Etta[/name_f]

[name_f]Josephine[/name_f]- no, the letters “sephi” are right in the name! not my favourite on the list though

[name_f]Constance[/name_f]- as long as she doesn’t have the same middle initial(s) I think you’re okay. I’ve heard people say it can be confusing with mail but I actually rarely see mail with just initials- and besides things like bills which she won’t be getting for years, how much mail do people really get these days? I love [name_f]Constance[/name_f] with [name_f]Annora[/name_f] or [name_m]Edmund[/name_m].

[name_f]Zelda[/name_f]- I actually think [name_f]Annora[/name_f] and [name_f]Zelda[/name_f] could work. [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] and [name_f]Zelda[/name_f] not so much, but if you had other kids- e.g. [name_m]Edmund[/name_m], [name_f]Zelda[/name_f] and [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]- it might.

[name_f]Mirabel[/name_f]- this is the name of a large-ish airport in my country so I find it a bit odd as a name, but it sounds pretty

[name_f]Daphne[/name_f]- I find the consonant cluster awfully grating, sorry

[name_f]Delia[/name_f]- I think of [name_f]Delia[/name_f] [name_m]Smith[/name_m], but that’s probably just because I read The Telegraph all the time! It’s feminine and pretty, unique but still wearable.

[name_u]Vivien[/name_u]- I think of [name_u]Vivien[/name_u] [name_u]Leigh[/name_u] so it seems like a very dramatic name to me

[name_f]Gwendolen[/name_f]/[name_f]Guinevere[/name_f]- either could have the nickname [name_f]Gwen[/name_f]. I like [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] better because it has so much history and the Arthurian legends are a lovely connection

[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] is one of my current favs. I’ve always liked it, but I’m a child of the 70s & every other girl was named [name_u]Julie[/name_u]. Best for me to not pick a similar name! Also adore [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] (this spelling) with the nn [name_f]Viva[/name_f] rather than [name_f]Vivi[/name_f]. [name_f]Verity[/name_f] is also a pretty name & could be shortened to Vee, V or Very. Quite like Very as a name.

Not keen on the others & can’t understand why ugly (IMHO) old fashioned names are making a comeback? There are some beautiful old lady/man names & then there’s [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] & [name_f]Gwendoline[/name_f] - Awful

[name_f]Mirabel[/name_f], [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f], and [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] are perfect with [name_f]Annora[/name_f]!

[name_f]Verity[/name_f] - [name_f]Verity[/name_f] is an interesting name, but I don’t feel that it fits in with your sibset names. As for the nickname problem, it shouldn’t be forced. I know a girl whose parents tried to force a strict [name_f]Veronica[/name_f]-no-nickname policy for years, but she insists upon V. I happen to like [name_f]Vera[/name_f] as a nickname for [name_f]Verity[/name_f], however.
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] - [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] is a gorgeous name, but it is pretty feminine. Nickname [name_u]Jet[/name_u] has that steely vibe you’re looking for.

[name_f]Josephine[/name_f] - Very “blah” to me next to [name_f]Annora[/name_f] and [name_m]Edmund[/name_m].

[name_f]Constance[/name_f] “[name_u]Connie[/name_u]” - Yuck to both of them. Such a stiff, whiny, Colonial vibe.

[name_f]Zelda[/name_f] - Interesting, but I’m afraid most people would associate it solely with the video game.

[name_f]Mirabel[/name_f] “[name_f]Mira[/name_f]/[name_f]Miri[/name_f]” - Absolutely perfect! I adore it with [name_f]Annora[/name_f] and [name_m]Edmund[/name_m], and nickname [name_f]Miri[/name_f] couldn’t be better.
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f] - Nice. [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] & [name_f]Annora[/name_f] sound good together.
[name_f]Delia[/name_f] “[name_f]Dilly[/name_f]” - [name_f]Dilly[/name_f] reminds me of pickles.
[name_u]Vivien[/name_u] “[name_f]Vivi[/name_f]” - Meh.
[name_f]Gwendolen[/name_f] “[name_f]Gwen[/name_f]” or even [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] “[name_f]Gwen[/name_f]” - [name_f]Gwendolen[/name_f] and [name_f]Annora[/name_f] and [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] sound nice. [name_f]Gwen[/name_f] is meh.

I think you and I may have similar naming styles!

My DD is named [name_f]Annika[/name_f] nn [name_f]Annie[/name_f].
I also have an ODS [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] nn [name_u]Max[/name_u] and YDS [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] nn [name_u]Theo[/name_u].

I am currently pregnant with our 4th - a girl. We’re having a hard time finding ‘THE’ name.
We’ve been kicking around [name_f]Talia[/name_f], [name_f]Verity[/name_f], [name_f]Katrina[/name_f], [name_f]Katarina[/name_f], [name_f]Gwyneth[/name_f], [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]. (I love [name_f]Zelda[/name_f], but DH doesn’t.)
Most recently, I’ve been musing [name_f]Katia[/name_f] or [name_f]Katrin[/name_f] with a nn of [name_f]Katie[/name_f], or [name_f]Rosemarie[/name_f] with a nn of [name_f]Roxie[/name_f].

But, honestly, you’ve chosen lovely names! I don’t think you can really go wrong!

Thanks so much for all the comments (sorry I’m replying late, had to quit the internet unexpectedly!). I’m especially happy that so many people think that [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] nn [name_u]Jules[/name_u] would be a good choice; it’s my longtime love, and all the comments/votes have made me fall for [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] all over again!

Yay, as above, so happy that people think this! Thanks!

So glad someone else likes [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] nn Sephie!

Thanks for all the alternative nn options for [name_f]Josephine[/name_f], I like [name_u]Joey[/name_u] and [name_u]Josie[/name_u] a lot too, and Jeph/[name_f]Fina[/name_f] would be very cool too.

Thanks for your reply, especially the suggestions- now crushing on [name_f]Rosalinda[/name_f]/[name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] and [name_f]Mariella[/name_f] (which would be a combination of our paternal grandmothers’ names!). Really happy to see some love for [name_f]Annora[/name_f] and [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] as a sisterset.

Thanks, especially happy to hear that about [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]!

Hahaha, this one made me laugh! I’m big into old-fashioned names, particularly ‘clunky’ even borderline ugly ones. Maybe it’s a generational thing if you grew up in the 70s? My Mum is of a similar age (I’m 22) and thinks my taste in names is dreadful!! [name_f]Glad[/name_f] you like Very though

Awww, thanks for this lovely reponse! I love your sibset (I would have [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] on my boys’ list but it doesn’t work with our last name, sadly). [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] is one of my favourites too!

You have a great list too, I love [name_f]Verity[/name_f] (obviously!), [name_f]Gwyneth[/name_f], and all the [name_f]Kat[/name_f]- names! [name_f]Rosemarie[/name_f] is super darling as well! All the best of luck!

Thanks so much, this is exactly the kind of feedback I need! I particularly like your use of ‘blah’/meh, I understand what you mean, it’s definitely something I want to avoid.

On nicknames, I don’t want to force them, but I like having one or more in mind so that I’ll be able to use them as pet names early on. Looove [name_f]Vera[/name_f] for [name_f]Verity[/name_f] and [name_u]Jet[/name_u] for [name_f]Juliet[/name_f].

Haha, the [name_f]Zelda[/name_f] video game is the reason why my partner loves it so much! It has more of a a 1920s vibe for me. You’re right about [name_f]Dilly[/name_f] too, it is too pickly!

Thanks again (& love your username!).

Aww, thanks again for an amazing response, [name_f]Lauren[/name_f]!

[name_f]Happy[/name_f] you support [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f], [name_f]Verity[/name_f], [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] and [name_f]Constance[/name_f], yay! Also glad to have back-up on keeping [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] and [name_f]Zelda[/name_f] on the list, even though they could be troublesome.

Thanks again, lovely.

My faves are [name_f]Gwendolen[/name_f], [name_f]Mirabel[/name_f], and [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]! I also like that they have nicknames that don’t rhyme with [name_f]Annie[/name_f].

[name_f]Josephine[/name_f] and [name_f]Constance[/name_f] don’t feel bright enough to me next to [name_f]Annora[/name_f].

[name_f]Daphne[/name_f] and [name_f]Delia[/name_f] are at the bottom for me… they just don’t measure up to the beauty and elegance of [name_f]Annora[/name_f] and [name_m]Edmund[/name_m]!
