We have ideas for a boys name sorted. Still struggling girl wise. I thought I’d list my favourite names and ask the berries to help suggest a 3 name combo. (ie, first name and two middle names)
I’d like something that flows well with our surname [name_u]Lee[/name_u].I am happy to use a name from the first name list as a middle name. Other combos also welcome
Thank you - [name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Miriam[/name_f] [name_f]Fleur[/name_f] [name_u]Lee[/name_u] is lovely, very pretty. I also love [name_f]Martha[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Inez[/name_f] [name_u]Lee[/name_u] as I think it has a lovely flow. [name_f]My[/name_f] only problem is her initials would be MAIL.
Any more suggestions will be considered.
I love your naming style!
For the first name choice it has to be [name_f]Margot[/name_f] because it is such a darling name. The tricky part is the middle names as I think that syllable wise it not have a short name before [name_u]Lee[/name_u].
Here are some suggestions:
[name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Gretta[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f]
[name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Fleur[/name_f] [name_f]Estelle[/name_f]
[name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Hebe[/name_f] [name_f]Celia[/name_f]
[name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Cecile[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f]
X
Suggestion: You may like: ( for middles or firsts )
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f], [name_f]Nadia[/name_f], [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f], [name_f]Fiora[/name_f], [name_m]Giona[/name_m], [name_f]Geneva[/name_f], [name_f]Reverie[/name_f]
I do think that two middle names will overpower your surname. It is also hard to find a good flow. [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] [name_f]Miriam[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] would be nice but [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] [name_f]Miriam[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] [name_u]Lee[/name_u] sounds awful whereas [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] [name_f]Miriam[/name_f] [name_u]Lee[/name_u] sounds fine. I am not trying to be mean, just giving you an example of how things will sound.
I think it would help if you considered some longer (ie, with more syllables) middles. All of your names (including your surname) are one or two syllables except for [name_f]Mirabelle[/name_f] (which slurs together with your last name and therefore only sounds good in the second name spot) and [name_f]Verity[/name_f] (which is a little rhyme-y with your last name.) Two-middle combos are tricky to begin with; more variety in syllables would help a lot.
ETA: oops, forgot about [name_f]Miriam[/name_f]. The point still stands, though.
can’t seem to find any combos that work, but I think [name_f]Miriam[/name_f] sounds best as a 2nd middle name. though I’d have to agree with whirligig, it seems like it’s going to be hard to find a 3-name combo that works with such a short surname.
