I’m feeling ~* dreamy *~ and in this spirit, I would love your first reactions to these names! If you heard someone with one of these names, what would you think? Please don’t be nice for the sake of it, but tell me what you’d really think since these are all possible contenders someday.

My biggest fear is choosing an uppity name, so please let me know if these names seem unassuming or if they seem snobby:

If I met them:
[name_f]Julia[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] - [name_f]Julia[/name_f] is a nice classic. I wouldn’t pay too much attention to it but I definitely wouldn’t dislike it.
[name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] ([name_f]Annie[/name_f]-[name_f]Beth[/name_f]) - I would stop to think that [name_f]Anna[/name_f] is a pretty name, even though I know many. With [name_f]Annie[/name_f]-[name_f]Beth[/name_f], I’d get the impression that she was from the [name_u]South[/name_u], but I’d find it cute and expect her to have a bubbly personality
[name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] ([name_f]Laura[/name_f]-[name_f]Beth[/name_f]) - Same as [name_f]Julia[/name_f]. I’d find [name_f]Laura[/name_f]-[name_f]Beth[/name_f] kind of middle aged though
[name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] - Plain but sweet
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] - [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] does feel a tiny bit snobbish to me, even though I know it’s not. There’s a very specific kind of girl that comes to mind, someone young (since [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is so trendy recently), “girly” and into all the different trends at the moment.
[name_f]Caroline[/name_f] [name_f]Rebecca[/name_f] - [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] sounds super sweet to me so I’d expect a [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] to be the same way. Someone kind, friendly but not overbearing.
[name_f]Rebecca[/name_f] [name_u]Meredith[/name_u] - Same as [name_f]Julia[/name_f]
[name_u]Meredith[/name_u] [name_u]Willow[/name_u] - I’d expect a [name_u]Meredith[/name_u] to be a bit older than me, but I’d find it a nice familiar choice I wouldn’t bat an eye at

[name_m]Daniel[/name_m] [name_m]Joseph[/name_m] - No opinion, I know many many [name_m]Daniels[/name_m] so it doesn’t have a specific character anymore
[name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] - I’d expect someone young, fun and spunky

None of these sound uppity to me. I think they all give me similar impressions. They all feel friendly, intelligent, and wholesome. The only one I’m not partial to is [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]. It just doesn’t appeal to me.

Individually, [name_f]Laura[/name_f] is my favorite name but my favorite combination is [name_f]Julia[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f]. I really love the nickname [name_u]Julie[/name_u].

Of the boys, [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] [name_m]Joseph[/name_m] is my favorite. How could you be unlikable with a cozy name like [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] [name_m]Joseph[/name_m]? [name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] is handsome but not quite as friendly sounding to me.

[name_f]Julia[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] - classy, caring, very open and friendly, great with kids (i.e. probably a schoolteacher whose little students all just adore her)

[name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] ([name_f]Annie[/name_f]-[name_f]Beth[/name_f]) - down-to-earth, motherly, dependable, the one everyone goes to for practical advice

[name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] ([name_f]Laura[/name_f]-[name_f]Beth[/name_f]) - bright, resourceful, loves being out in nature

[name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] - sweet, optimistic, would do anything for those she loves

[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] - smart, graceful, spends her free time playing the violin and reading classics

[name_f]Caroline[/name_f] [name_f]Rebecca[/name_f] - adventurous, independent, has big goals and the determination to achieve them

[name_f]Rebecca[/name_f] [name_u]Meredith[/name_u] - conscientious, but curious, loves to learn, makes friends easily

[name_u]Meredith[/name_u] [name_u]Willow[/name_u] - outdoorsy, rebellious, a little wild and passionate, big heart and even bigger imagination

[name_m]Daniel[/name_m] [name_m]Joseph[/name_m] - quiet, but not shy, considerate, outdoorsy, smart

[name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] - talkative, funny, a little mischievous, always the ‘cool kid’

Okay! [name_m]Even[/name_m] though I really like these, I’ll be mean, just for you!

[name_f]Julia[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f]- This sounds really sweet, almost too perfect for a kid. Like it’s a neat, pressed linen napkin, and the kid spills orange juice all over it.

[name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]- Really classic, like a starched shirt. Itchy and uncomfortable. I like [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_u]Anne[/name_u] better.

[name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]- This one I really actually don’t like all that much. I can’t even tell why, but I don’t like it.

[name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]- Sounds way too much like [name_f]Lily[/name_f] and [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Potter[/name_m].

[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Louisa[/name_f]- Okay, sounds like this girl is actually pretty snobby. That’s just the vibes it gives off.

[name_f]Caroline[/name_f] [name_f]Rebecca[/name_f]- The styles are almost too different. I can’t place what’s off… Maybe it’s better flipped. [name_f]Rebecca[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f]? Idk.

[name_f]Rebecca[/name_f] [name_u]Meredith[/name_u]- Sounds very…pretentious? And at the same time, basic.

[name_u]Meredith[/name_u] [name_u]Willow[/name_u]- Very wild-child vibes. But that’s all I have to say. I like this too much.

[name_m]Daniel[/name_m] [name_m]Joseph[/name_m]- It’s weird with two Biblical names right after the other. This kid sounds like he’d be such a goody good and never do anything, except sit in his button-down shirt and gelled back hair.

[name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m]- Them both being two syllables gives it too weird of a rhythm. [name_m]Leo[/name_m]'s very mischievous, and [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] is very black and white.
