Please give your opinions on my hubby and I’s top two names. My husband is leaning toward Elowen (has even started calling her that), but I am still very undecided. My concern with Elowen is that when said in real life introductions that it might get mistaken for [name]Ellen[/name]. Hubby doesn’t think it will at all. What do you think? [name]Both[/name] middle names have family connections. Last name is one syllable.
I think they are both lovely names but I am leaning towards [name]Daphne[/name] [name]Louise[/name]. I feel it flows better than Elowen [name]Carys[/name] and sounds a bit more elegant. Elowen [name]Daphne[/name] or [name]Daphne[/name] Elowen are also really nice in my opinion.
I love [name]Daphne[/name], so that would be my pick. I have never really heard of Elowen before, but it is pretty. I don’t think it would be confused with [name]Ellen[/name] very often.
[name]Both[/name] names are very nice, but my vote will go to [name]Daphne[/name] [name]Louise[/name]. Elowen [name]Carys[/name] could come off as trying too hard if you don’t have a strong Welsh heritage.
[name]Both[/name] are nice, but I love [name]Daphne[/name] so much more. Elowen [name]Carys[/name] is very, very Welsh, almost overkill if you aren’t Welsh. [name]Daphne[/name] [name]Carys[/name] would be great.
I am crushing on Elowen right now, and I adore [name]Carys[/name] so together I find the combo very pretty.
[name]Daphne[/name] is gorgeous and it goes on and off my list, and while [name]Daphne[/name] [name]Louise[/name] is lovely, I prefer Elowen [name]Carys[/name].
I love both, but definitely lean toward [name]Daphne[/name]. My daughter is named [name]Daphne[/name], so I’m probably biased though. I think [name]Daphne[/name] [name]Louise[/name] is lovely, but [name]Daphne[/name] [name]Carys[/name] or [name]Daphne[/name] Elowen would be gorgeous. But because of the name meaning, I would love to see [name]Daphne[/name] [name]Carys[/name].
I love your taste in names, by the way! [name]Daphne[/name], [name]Carys[/name] & Elowen were all at the top of our list when we were trying to choose a name for our little lady.
