please help! baby boy #3

we are expecting our 3rd boy and are at a loss for another boy name! I had beautiful family names picked out for a girl, of course, but am just stuck now!

Our other two little guys are [name_m]Leo[/name_m] and [name_u]Owen[/name_u]. Our last name is two syllables, starts with S, pretty basic.

some names I kind of like are:
[name_u]River[/name_u]
[name_u]Reed[/name_u]
[name_m]Cole[/name_m]
[name_m]Heath[/name_m]
[name_m]Grant[/name_m]
[name_m]Graham[/name_m]
[name_m]Felix[/name_m]
[name_m]Fletcher[/name_m]
[name_m]Samuel[/name_m]
[name_u]Seth[/name_u]
[name_m]Simon[/name_m]

[name_f]My[/name_f] husband likes [name_u]Noel[/name_u], but all I see is [name_u]Christmas[/name_u]…
We’d love your ideas!

From your list, I like [name_u]Reed[/name_u] and [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] the best.

If your husband likes [name_u]Noel[/name_u], what do you two think of [name_m]Nolan[/name_m]? Similar to his favorite, but I think it fits better with your [name_m]Leo[/name_m] and [name_u]Owen[/name_u].

Other suggestions:
[name_u]Bryce[/name_u]
[name_m]Garrett[/name_m]
[name_m]Pierce[/name_m]
[name_m]Isaac[/name_m]
[name_m]Henry[/name_m]

[name_m]Leo[/name_m] and [name_u]Owen[/name_u] work wonderfully together! I kind of like that [name_u]Noel[/name_u] contains letters from both brothers’ names, but I’m not sure that’s the way to go. And you’re clearly not sold on it, either, so…

I think my favorites for you are [name_m]Graham[/name_m] and [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m]. Particularly [name_m]Graham[/name_m], as it’s not too stylistically different from either [name_m]Leo[/name_m] or [name_u]Owen[/name_u]. [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m] is a little closer in style to [name_u]Owen[/name_u], as I consider them both modern-classics (whereas [name_m]Leo[/name_m] is just classic, to me.)

[name_m]Felix[/name_m] would be my favorite, but I’m not sure how the “x” sound would work with your “s” last name? Does it sound ok when you say it out loud?

I feel similarly about [name_m]Samuel[/name_m], [name_u]Seth[/name_u], and [name_m]Simon[/name_m]. Alliteration can work, it just depends on your last name. I don’t care for the repeated end sounds in [name_u]Owen[/name_u] and [name_m]Simon[/name_m], though, so [name_m]Simon[/name_m] isn’t really my favorite for you.

Are any of the names on your list family names? [name_f]Do[/name_f] you want to share what girl names you had picked? It might be possible to tweak the names a bit and still honor those family members with a boy’s name.

[name_m]Henry[/name_m]
[name_m]Jack[/name_m]
[name_u]Neal[/name_u]/[name_u]Neil[/name_u]
[name_u]Noah[/name_u]
[name_u]Reid[/name_u]/[name_u]Reed[/name_u]
[name_u]Kai[/name_u]
[name_u]Ryan[/name_u]
[name_u]Evan[/name_u]
[name_m]Lucas[/name_m]
[name_u]Rory[/name_u]
[name_m]Milo[/name_m]
[name_m]Ian[/name_m]
[name_u]Elias[/name_u]/ [name_m]Eli[/name_m]
[name_m]Liam[/name_m]
[name_m]Levi[/name_m]
[name_u]James[/name_u]
[name_m]Hugh[/name_m]
[name_u]Theo[/name_u]
[name_m]Wyatt[/name_m]
[name_m]Ezra[/name_m]
[name_m]Moss[/name_m]

[name_f]Hope[/name_f] some of these might help

So we need something to match [name_m]Leo[/name_m] and [name_u]Owen[/name_u] hmmm…

I like [name_m]Heath[/name_m] with these two, or [name_m]Graham[/name_m]

And then there is [name_m]Nolan[/name_m] - similar to [name_u]Noel[/name_u]

I really Like [name_m]Leo[/name_m], [name_u]Owen[/name_u] and [name_m]Nolan[/name_m]

I also think [name_m]Nolan[/name_m] would be great and continue the “O” theme.

I immediately thought of [name_m]Grant[/name_m] when I saw [name_m]Leo[/name_m] and [name_u]Owen[/name_u]. I was also going to suggest [name_m]Nolan[/name_m], but then I saw someone already suggested it! Although it’s kind of similar to [name_u]Owen[/name_u] - 2 syllables ending in ‘n’. What about [name_m]Miles[/name_m]?

Oh congratulations on your third boy!
[name_u]Noel[/name_u] is my favourite boys name, and I think it fits nicely with [name_m]Leo[/name_m] and [name_u]Owen[/name_u] - all are short, all have ‘o’, but all three are different.
From your list I also like [name_m]Heath[/name_m], [name_m]Felix[/name_m], [name_u]Seth[/name_u] and [name_m]Simon[/name_m], but I think [name_m]Cole[/name_m] flows the best with the sibset.

From your list,
[name_m]Leo[/name_m]
[name_u]Owen[/name_u]
[name_u]Seth[/name_u]

This is the perfect sibset.[name_u]Love[/name_u] it!!

[name_m]Leo[/name_m], [name_u]Owen[/name_u], and…

[name_u]Dexter[/name_u]
[name_m]Maxwell[/name_m]
[name_m]Xavier[/name_m]
[name_u]Hadley[/name_u]
[name_m]Preston[/name_m]
[name_m]Cooper[/name_m]
[name_m]Sebastian[/name_m]
[name_u]Nico[/name_u]
[name_u]Carlisle[/name_u]
[name_m]Granger[/name_m]
[name_m]Isaac[/name_m]
[name_m]Langdon[/name_m]
[name_m]Vance[/name_m]
[name_u]Carter[/name_u]

so many good ideas, thank you! I like the [name_m]Nolan[/name_m] suggestion, but kind of want to avoid another -an/-en ending. I like [name_m]Grant[/name_m], too.
If I could get my husband to agree with any of the names you suggested, I would be happy actually. His most recent suggestion was “Sitka”. ??
I think the middle name will be [name_u]Claude[/name_u] or Linville, if that changes things. Both kind of odd, I know, but I’ve got to keep the honoring family members tradition going, and I figure an unpopular name in the middle spot can’t hurt too much.

I like [name_m]Leo[/name_m], [name_u]Owen[/name_u], and [name_m]Cole[/name_m] as a sibset because of the similarities in the letters. It’s not really a theme, but the names go together well. I also love [name_m]Felix[/name_m] and [name_m]Samuel[/name_m].
Suggestions:
[name_u]Jude[/name_u]
[name_u]Micah[/name_u]
[name_m]Isaac[/name_m]
[name_m]Adrian[/name_m]
[name_m]Brody[/name_m]
[name_m]Luke[/name_m]/[name_m]Lucas[/name_m]
[name_u]Michael[/name_u]

I like [name_u]Seth[/name_u] and [name_u]Reed[/name_u]. But i also like [name_u]Noel[/name_u]!

I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_m]Leo[/name_m] and [name_u]Owen[/name_u]!

[name_m]Leo[/name_m], [name_u]Owen[/name_u], and [name_u]Emmett[/name_u]
[name_m]Leo[/name_m], [name_u]Owen[/name_u], and [name_m]Oliver[/name_m]
