I thought I was pretty set on the name [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]. [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] simply because we love the name, and [name_f]Jane[/name_f] to reflect the family name [name_f]Jeanne[/name_f] (my middle name and my grandmother’s middle name). Yes, I think the name sounds a bit old fashioned, but that is why we love it. I’m suddenly feeling though that having both [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] and [name_f]Jane[/name_f], 2 “old fashioned” names for lack of a better way to describe them, might be too much. I would love to keep [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] but maybe we need a different middle name to balance it out? My husband is Jewish, and I have Irish heritage, so I’ve been looking at those names to find something a little less common but haven’t found anything. Some examples that we like but don’t [name_u]LOVE[/name_u]: [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Tovah[/name_f], [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_u]Teagan[/name_u]…
So, my question is: What do you think of [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]? Or do you have any other suggestions that would reflect either Jewish or Irish (or both!). Thank you in advance!!!
Also, sibling is [name_u]Noah[/name_u] [name_u]Finley[/name_u]
eleanora is a combination of eleanor and nora. nora is hebrew for light, and it sounds really pretty.
hope this helps.
eleanora jane sounds both trendy because of the first name, and classic because of the jane.
I really like [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]. [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] is becoming more popular now due to people having a thing for [name_f]El[/name_f]- names in general, so I don’t see it as an old-fashioned combo.
