[name_f]Baby[/name_f] boy #2 is due in a few months and I’m so torn between these two names!
[name_m]Emmett[/name_m]: I love that this one seems a bit more rare and fresh, and it’s got a combo of soft and strong sounds that I love. I actually like [name_m]Everett[/name_m] even more, but it was vetoed by my husband so it’s off the table.
[name_m]Maxwell[/name_m]: I love how classic this feels, with the fun [name_m]Max[/name_m] nickname. [name_f]My[/name_f] only reservations is that it feels a bit too known/popular (however when I searched it up I was pleasantly surprised to learn it wasn’t in the top 100!) it’s also a bit rhymey with the last name, which ends in an “ack” sound, but at the same time has a cool ring to it. Think [name_m]Max[/name_m] AroundTheTrack.
Which name do you prefer? Big brother is [name_m]Calvin[/name_m] and I’m in love with his name, no other name feels like “THE ONE” as much as [name_m]Calvin[/name_m] did!!!
With bro’s name, I personally like Maxwell more as it fits the classic vibe of Calvin while also still being its own name. I would also honestly assume upon hearing that Emmett is more popular than Maxwell so… these two factors plus the nickname option make Maxwell the option IMO.
Both are great! I prefer [name_m]Emmett[/name_m] personally, but with [name_m]Calvin[/name_m] I think [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] fits so perfectly. What a handsome brother set!

I like the name [name_m]Emmett[/name_m] more than [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] (I know five Maxs’ and I’m under 20!! It’s very common where I live.) [name_m]Emmett[/name_m] is so modern and I love how the sounds flow together.
This being said, [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] and [name_m]Calvin[/name_m] have the same classic vibe. These two names would probably fit better together.
So hard to pick I love your son’s name and honestly both of these names go so well with their big brother … but I do think that [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] is a bit more popular with all the [name_m]Max[/name_m] variants around so I pick [name_m]Emmett[/name_m] - as he feels a lot fresher
[name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] for sure! It feels so charming with [name_m]Calvin[/name_m] - on-trend, but with a fun vintage charm. [name_m]Emmett[/name_m] is more popular than [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] if you’re based in the US or [name_f]Canada[/name_f]. I also just love the cool & international charm of the nickname [name_m]Max[/name_m], especially with your last name! [name_m]Emmett[/name_m] is handsome but it feels a bit less timeless to me, and it does instantly remind me of emetophobia, which I feel like is gradually becoming more and more of a recognizable word.

I think [name_m]Emmett[/name_m] is better! [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] is nice but I agree that despite it not being in the top 100 it doesn’t feel as fresh. [name_m]Emmett[/name_m] and [name_m]Calvin[/name_m] are more cohesive!
