I voted [name]Delaney[/name] [name]Gisele[/name]. With [name]Delaney[/name] already being technically unisex, I wouldn’t add another unisex MN to the mix ([name]Mckenna[/name], [name]Quinn[/name]). While I don’t think there’s any danger in a [name]Delaney[/name] [name]Quinn[/name] or a [name]Delaney[/name] [name]Mckenna[/name] being confused for a boy, since [name]Delaney[/name]'s already firmly in the girl camp, I have a very popular unisex FN, and a very filler MN, and while I like being [name]Ashley[/name], I would have preferred to have a feminine option to go by, and [name]Marie[/name] is just too boring, I’m not a [name]Marie[/name]. When you have a unisex FN, it’s nice to have a feminine option to go by.
I too like [name]Delaney[/name] [name]Gisele[/name]. [name]Gisele[/name] is an interesting, dramatic, feminine name. [name]Quinn[/name] is very over-done (it’s this generation’s [name]Lynn[/name]) and [name]McKenna[/name] both flows poorly with [name]Delaney[/name] and is a very similar, unisex-gone-girly name. [name]Gisele[/name] is a great contrast.
In fact, are you sure you might not like to simply name her [name]Gisele[/name]?
I have a daughter named [name]Reagan[/name] with a feminine middle name…and wanted to stick with the unisex/surname thing. (although I do know so many people hate it) I adore [name]Gisele[/name], but I’m so afraid people are going to seriously botch the pronunciation. I think just listening to her dad pronounce it [name]Gee[/name]-Zelley is what killed it for me
Thanks so much for the feedback and suggestions. It gives me a lot to ponder over. I think I’m overthinking the name thing…but it’s so important to me to pick a good one.
I think [name]Delaney[/name] [name]Giselle[/name]. I like its femininity.
