im hoping to borrow some of your creative minds! im trying to find a name for a character’s younger sister (it will start with J). I feel like ive seen every uncommon J name in nameberry’s database, so im now thinking that I’ll just have to make one up
the name im trying to match is Jinnorah. some “criteria” ive come up with:
I want it to start with J— the sister would be a minor character so I think them having names with similar vibes and the same starting letter will help readers remember their connection
I don’t want it to be too similar in sound to Jinnorah, so im leaning away from names with a J and N in the first syllable (so, probably not a Jan-, Jen-, Jin-, Jon-, Jun-, or [name_f]Jyn[/name_f]- name). names ending with the -ah sound are fine
the character dies young, so I want the name to be a little childlike or innocent sounding. nothing too harsh or sophisticated, but I don’t want a nickname name either.
my current considerations are Jemmaline and Joselyne / [name_f]Joseline[/name_f]
there’s no surname to contend with. im not sure if I’ll even come up with one
also, this is a fantasy world, so go nuts. be as creative as you want! im really looking for any ideas here!
