Please help me name my baby boy!

We are looking for a baby boy name that we can incorporate my husband’s name with and use initials.

My husband’s name is [name_m]John[/name_m]. He would like to name our son [name_m]John[/name_m] [name_m]Donovan[/name_m], or JD. I also think because it’s [name_m]John[/name_m] [name_m]Jr[/name_m] people would call him JJ and I’m not a fan of a “[name_m]Jr[/name_m]” name.

My stepson’s name is [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] [name_m]John[/name_m] and he is already called JJ.

My daughter’s name is [name_f]Anabelle[/name_f] or [name_f]Belle[/name_f] for short.

Any ideas for our new baby? We kind of agree on [name_m]Christian[/name_m] [name_m]John[/name_m], or CJ, but are looking for other options.

[name_f]TIA[/name_f]

I personally would refrain from using [name_m]John[/name_m] since [name_u]Jayden[/name_u]'s middle name is already [name_m]John[/name_m]. If I’m understanding the post correctly, you want your son to have his initials as a nickname like JJ does.

There are plenty of variations of the name [name_m]John[/name_m] that could be used to honor your husband such as: [name_m]Ian[/name_m], [name_m]Sean[/name_m], [name_u]Evan[/name_u], and [name_m]Ivan[/name_m]. That being said, using one of those might make it more difficult to use initials as nicknames. I just personally think both boys having the same middle name and going by JJ and CJ for example is redundant and matchy.

I would use [name_m]Jack[/name_m] or at least [name_m]Jonathan[/name_m] for this little boy. Both names are a great way to honor dad without reusing ‘[name_m]John[/name_m]’. [name_m]Jack[/name_m] is a diminutive of [name_m]John[/name_m] and [name_m]Jonathan[/name_m]

[name_m]Christian[/name_m] [name_m]Jack[/name_m] “CJ”
[name_m]Asher[/name_m] [name_m]Jack[/name_m], [name_m]Asher[/name_m] [name_m]Jonathan[/name_m], [name_m]Austin[/name_m] [name_m]Jack[/name_m], [name_m]Aaron[/name_m] [name_m]Jack[/name_m] “AJ”
[name_m]Jack[/name_m] [name_u]Ryan[/name_u], [name_m]Jonathan[/name_m] [name_u]Riley[/name_u] “[name_m]JR[/name_m]”
[name_u]Parker[/name_u] [name_m]Jonathan[/name_m] “PJ”
[name_m]Donovan[/name_m] [name_m]Jack[/name_m] “DJ”
[name_m]Ethan[/name_m] [name_m]Jack[/name_m] “EJ”
[name_m]Jack[/name_m] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] “JB”
[name_m]Declan[/name_m] [name_m]Jack[/name_m], [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] [name_m]Jonathan[/name_m] “DJ”
[name_u]Mason[/name_u] [name_m]Jack[/name_m], [name_m]Miles[/name_m] [name_m]Jonathan[/name_m] “MJ”
[name_m]Thomas[/name_m] [name_m]Jack[/name_m], [name_u]Tyler[/name_u] [name_m]Jonathan[/name_m] “TJ”

You could give him your husband’s initials, but his own individual name and still use JD:
[name_m]Jonah[/name_m] [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] “JD” for example

Thank you very much, these are all great options!
