I am due in 3 weeks, and just cannot settle on a name. With our first daughter, we went around and around again with names as well, but by my 7th month we had basically decided on a name, and ended up sticking with it.
I have names I am considering, I change daily tho, which makes this so irritating.
So what I figured I’d do is list our family member names and let you decide which one flows best with us.
My name is [name]Andrea[/name]
My husband’s name is [name]Leo[/name] and our daughter’s name is [name]Harlow[/name]
[name]Cosima[/name] is beautiful, but it doesn’t seem to match stylistically with the more modern [name]Harlow[/name].
[name]Andromeda[/name] also feels markedly different from [name]Harlow[/name].
[name]Nefertiti[/name] is a little too out-there, I think.
I’m not sure about [name]Israel[/name] … it feels almost masculine, somehow.
I think [name]Harlow[/name] and [name]Zenobia[/name], and [name]Harlow[/name] and [name]Olympia[/name] both work very well. [name]Both[/name] are great, unusual names, and sound congruent with [name]Harlow[/name] in spunk.
I agree, [name]Olympia[/name] is perfect with [name]Harlow[/name]. [name]Both[/name] are sweet, cool and spunky. [name]Nefertiti[/name] is a bit grand (plus some mean jokes could be formed from the name), [name]Israel[/name] is very masculine to me (not sure if you’re Jewish, but it’s a very traditional and common male name in ultra-religious Judaism), [name]Zenobia[/name] is nice but doesn’t feel right with [name]Harlow[/name] and I’m just not a huge fan of [name]Andromeda[/name] because it feels very heavy. My second choice would be [name]Cosima[/name]. But I really love [name]Olympia[/name]!
My favorites with [name]Harlow[/name] are [name]Olympia[/name] and [name]Cosima[/name] (I also like [name]Cosette[/name], which [name]Cosima[/name] reminds me of.) [name]Nefertiti[/name] is too out-there for me and [name]Zenobia[/name] and [name]Andromeda[/name] don’t match [name]Harlow[/name] very well. [name]Israel[/name] doesn’t feel like a name to me and is also quite masculine.
I suppose I’ll choose [name]Olympia[/name], too, though I’m not 100% sold, if I’m being completely honest. Some other mythological names you might like to compliment [name]Harlow[/name] are:
I would go with [name]Cosima[/name] or [name]Olympia[/name]. The rest seem a little “too much name.” [name]Andromeda[/name] is very close to [name]Andrea[/name]. Also [name]Israel[/name] is a male name.
