Pls help me choose a name for my daughter… she is 5 weeks old and I cannot decide!!

We love Sienna as we got married in Tuscany, but Indie has always been our girls name… we don’t like indigo or India so would just be Indie. I also have always loved Margot. I have a son named Jude James so would be a sibling for him, his name was so easy!

I did this poll yesterday but have since changed our minds so wanted to know what people think about Margot too…

While I myself am not a huge [name_f]Margot[/name_f] fan, [name_m]Jude[/name_m] and [name_f]Margot[/name_f] is a great pairing! I like the idea of [name_m]Jude[/name_m] [name_m]James[/name_m] and [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] a lot. The alliteration is a fun idea. I still like [name_f]Siena[/name_f] the best… I’m not familiar with the couple you mentioned previously, but can understand why that would give you pause. Is there another place name in Tuscany that would appeal? I think [name_m]Jude[/name_m] and [name_f]Siena[/name_f] is beautiful but… what about [name_f]Florence[/name_f]? [name_m]Or[/name_m] [name_f]Tosca[/name_f]? I think both are lovely with [name_m]Jude[/name_m], hopefully don’t have the celebrity couple ties, and [name_f]Florence[/name_f] is in Tuscany and I’ve read that [name_f]Tosca[/name_f] means “from Tuscany”. Maybe one of those might be appealing to you?

I know you’re also hung up on the different feels for [name_m]Jude[/name_m] and [name_f]Indie[/name_f], but I do think they’re really sweet together. Different vibes, but many siblings have vastly different personalities! I do think [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] nn [name_f]Indie[/name_f] would fit Jude’s vibes and still give you your beloved [name_f]Indie[/name_f], but if you just want [name_f]Indie[/name_f], I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it either. [name_f]My[/name_f] name list is terribly eclectic imo, and while I think a lot of people prioritize a “cohesive” set of names, but I don’t think that’s truly necessary… does she feel like an [name_f]Indie[/name_f]? If so, I wouldn’t worry about the difference in style… [name_m]Jude[/name_m] and [name_f]Indie[/name_f] are super cute together.

I think any of these would be lovely…. But I didn’t want to vote because my favorite is [name_f]Siena[/name_f] but I want you to pick what is right for you and your daughter, not what I like. . Good luck, hoping the decision becomes easy to make soon!

ahh, this is so tough as all of them are lovely! I think I’m between [name_f]Margot[/name_f] and [name_f]Indie[/name_f], but I stuck with [name_f]Indie[/name_f]

these are all great options! i picked [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] but the other two are only two syllables so maybe that’s something to consider-- whether you want two or three syllables. [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] could also be [name_f]Senna[/name_f] or [name_f]Sela[/name_f]. [name_f]Margot[/name_f] can be [name_f]Marlowe[/name_f] or [name_f]Monroe[/name_f]. [name_f]Indie[/name_f] is great! Similar to [name_f]Indie[/name_f] is [name_f]Ida[/name_f]

What about [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] or [name_f]Indie[/name_f] [name_f]Sienna[/name_f]? I like [name_f]Margot[/name_f] best with [name_m]Jude[/name_m] but [name_f]Indie[/name_f] flows a little better with [name_f]Sienna[/name_f].

[name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] is gorgeous and I feel will hold itself better over time than both [name_f]Indie[/name_f] and [name_f]Sienna[/name_f]
