We are expecting baby number 3 in a couple of weeks, we know it is a boy but are really struggling with names.
We already have [name_u]Bay[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] (girl) and [name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_u]Ash[/name_u], the children are half indian and half white British and have a very common 2 syllable indian surname.
We have a few ideas but haven’t fallen in love with anything and actually found it really hard to name our other son. I would love to hear your thoughts and suggestions, I am open to the very unusual but not really keen on surnames as names
[name_m]Rocco[/name_m] - We really like this but we are worried about introducing another nationality into the mix!
[name_u]Finn[/name_u] - husbands favourite, maybe to common, means fair which doesn’t seem right either
[name_m]Caspar[/name_m] - I like husband doesn’t
[name_m]Quentin[/name_m] - I like husband doesn’t
[name_u]Quinn[/name_u] - I like husband doesn’t
[name_m]Olin[/name_m] - we both love this but think there might be to many ‘o’ sounds going on with [name_m]Leo[/name_m]?
[name_m]Torin[/name_m] - loved this when I saw it written down as I assumed you pronounced to To-rin, I’m not keen on [name_m]Tor[/name_m]-in as it just doesn’t seem natural to say it this way to me
[name_u]Oak[/name_u] - what do you think of this as a first name? It would fit with the 3 letter theme of the others
[name_m]Bodhi[/name_m] - think it might be more of a girls name to hindus
[name_m]Rocco[/name_m] - I wouldn’t choose it, just because it’s the name of a popular adult film star. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you like Rockley or [name_m]Rockwell[/name_m]?
[name_u]Finn[/name_u] - I like it and think it matches the names of your other two kids. [name_m]Don[/name_m]'t choose it if the meaning bothers you though.
[name_m]Caspar[/name_m] - Does your husband like [name_m]Caspian[/name_m]?
[name_m]Quentin[/name_m]/[name_u]Quinn[/name_u]: would your husband like [name_m]Quinlan[/name_m]?
[name_m]Torin[/name_m] - the one [name_m]Torin[/name_m] I know is female, if that makes any difference. What do you think of [name_m]Tobin[/name_m] (pronounced to-bin)?
[name_u]Oak[/name_u] - I think it’s too short and vowel-heavy for a first name. Could maybe use [name_u]Oakley[/name_u]?
[name_m]Bodhi[/name_m] - I’ve only ever heard it as a boy’s name…
I tend to look at syllables over letters and [name_m]Casper[/name_m] [name_u]Oak[/name_u] would fit in with that - same number as your other boy and middle is also a nature name.

[name_u]Oak[/name_u] - what do you think of this as a first name? It would fit with the 3 letter theme of the others i like the 3 ltr theme, but as long as the name is not more than 2 syllables and 5 letters, i think it works well with sibs. i do like the nature theme.
[name_m]Bodhi[/name_m] - think it might be more of a girls name to hindus nice meaning. i like the name, although it reminds me of surfers and skaters, x-gamers, etc.

[name_m]Rocco[/name_m] - I think this is more similar to [name_m]Leo[/name_m] than [name_m]Olin[/name_m], but not too similar to use. I wouldn’t worry about nationality, as [name_m]Rocco[/name_m] is on-trend and becoming more common.
[name_u]Finn[/name_u] - Nice, literary name. It feels like it’s popular because it’s all over Nameberry, but it only ranks 250 in the US.
[name_m]Caspar[/name_m], [name_m]Quentin[/name_m], [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] - if your husbad doesn’t like them, they don’t work. I like the suggestions of [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] or [name_m]Jasper[/name_m], maybe those would fare better with him.
[name_m]Olin[/name_m] - I think [name_m]Leo[/name_m] & [name_m]Olin[/name_m] sound great together. Not too similar at all. [name_m]Olin[/name_m] is not my style, but it goes well with your sibset.
[name_m]Torin[/name_m] - I pronounce this [name_m]Tor[/name_m]-in. The only other pronunciation I could see is Toe-rin, but that wouldn’t be my first guess & I actually prefer the [name_m]Tor[/name_m]-in pronunciation.
[name_u]Oak[/name_u] - I like this the best with the sib-set. It’s a 3 letter, nature name that just fits.
[name_m]Bodhi[/name_m] - I’ve only seen this used for boys. It’s okay, not a favorite. I prefer [name_m]Brody[/name_m].

I’m glad some of you think [name_u]Oak[/name_u] could work and that [name_m]Olin[/name_m] isn’t too much with [name_m]Leo[/name_m] we will definitely keep these on the list. I love the suggestions of [name_m]Zev[/name_m] it’s going on the list! and [name_m]Oren[/name_m] but unfortunately I can’t use this one. Also loved [name_m]Caspar[/name_m] oak but husband still says no so it’s off the list
After much trawling of nameberry I came across and liked [name_m]Eldin[/name_m]/[name_m]Elden[/name_m] means ‘noble friend’, [name_m]Faron[/name_m]/[name_m]Farin[/name_m] - handsome servant and [name_u]Corin[/name_u] ‘spear’

From your original list I like [name_u]Finn[/name_u] the best. From the new list you just posted I think [name_m]Zev[/name_m] is kinda cool!
[name_m]Elden[/name_m]/[name_m]Farin[/name_m]/[name_u]Corin[/name_u] are just so-so for me but if I had to choose I would pick [name_m]Elden[/name_m]. Are you pronouncing [name_m]Farin[/name_m] - Far-in? For some reason I was thinking Fair-in when I looked at it.
I like Corin, but I like Torin more, esp with sibs. It has a softer sound. Elden I usually see as Alden, which has the same meaning (i think), which also reminded me of Calder which you might like. Has a nature meaning (rocky water), and could have the 3 ltr nickname Cal. Callum (dove) and Ronan (little seal) is another good one.
Not so much a fan of Faron/Farin or the meaning. But glad your list seems to be taking better shape
I love your children’s names! I like [name_u]Corin[/name_u], [name_m]Bodhi[/name_m] & [name_m]Torin[/name_m] but I think [name_m]Zev[/name_m] is my favourite overall especially with [name_u]Bay[/name_u] & [name_m]Leo[/name_m]. It’s unusual, strong and fits in well with your sibset.
