We can not decide on our baby girls name but have a few that we like, please help! We want something that will be cute for her AS a baby, but also something that she will like when she is older. We don’t mind choosing a name that is popular today but just want it to be good for her when she is older too…
Here are what we came up with so far:
[name_f]Olivia[/name_f]
[name_f]Aria[/name_f]
[name_f]Camila[/name_f]
[name_f]Nora[/name_f]
[name_u]Tatum[/name_u]
Eliana
Avery
Elise
I think if you don’t mind popularity, [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] is a classic that will serve your daughter well both in childhood and as an adult. Nicknames [name_f]Livvy[/name_f], [name_f]Liv[/name_f], [name_f]Libby[/name_f], [name_f]Olive[/name_f], [name_f]Viva[/name_f], [name_f]Via[/name_f], [name_u]Ollie[/name_u] (and more!) are all options, and the full [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] looks really good on a CV. Also, it has a beautiful sound! [name_f]Camila[/name_f] is also lovely - again, she has nickname ([name_f]Mila[/name_f], [name_f]Millie[/name_f], [name_f]Calla[/name_f] etc.) options suitable for a baby while also being suitable for an adult.
I’m not a great fan of [name_u]Tatum[/name_u]. It makes me think of [name_u]Channing[/name_u], and has a trendy feel, which makes it difficult to imagine on a grown woman. [name_f]Nora[/name_f] is sweet, although I prefer it as a nickname (do you like [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] or [name_f]Leonora[/name_f]?) and [name_f]Aria[/name_f] is fine, but possibly a bit Game of Thronesy. All in all, [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] is a classic if popularity isn’t a concern, while the slightly rarer [name_f]Camila[/name_f] is another really nice option if you decide to go slightly less popular. Good luck!
I love [name_f]Aria[/name_f], but then again I’m a huge PLL fan so I’m bias
I really like [name_f]Aria[/name_f] too ([name_u]Ari[/name_u], Ri, RiRi, [name_f]Ria[/name_f]), but I am just worried it can be a name for today and not tomorrow.
[name_f]Olivia[/name_f] is definitely a classic beautiful name, but seems to safe if that’s possible.
From your list I love:
[name_f]Olivia[/name_f]
[name_f]Camila[/name_f] - prefer the [name_f]Camilla[/name_f] spelling
[name_f]Nora[/name_f]
[name_f]Eliana[/name_f]
