My husband and I are trying to pick out a boys name to name our last baby. We have 3 daughters and girl’s names have always been so easy for us, but I’m finding that I just can’t fall in love with a boys name. I ask too many family members and friends their opinions on names and usually someone doesn’t like it, so I move on. So, instead of asking family members, I’m asking for your help! My daughter’s names are [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f], and [name_f]Gabrielle[/name_f] [name_f]Jayne[/name_f] (pronounced [name_f]Jane[/name_f]). I obviously stick with something traditional. [name_m]Henry[/name_m] and [name_m]Graham[/name_m] are not an option as my hubby has ruled those out. My hubby is kinda stuck on the name [name_m]Harrison[/name_m], which I’m okay with, but not in love. I can’t come up with a middle name that I really love to go with it…and maybe it’s cause I’m holding out hope that I find a different name to use. My husband suggested the name [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] [name_m]King[/name_m] Bourgeois, but I’ve already had people tell me that they don’t like [name_m]King[/name_m] as a middle name. (Bourgeois is our last name and [name_m]King[/name_m] is my mom’s maiden name) OH, and I’m southern, so I call my children often by their first and middle name when referring to them, so it should be something that kinda rolls off the tongue.
Anyway, do you have any name suggestions to go with our last name and daughter’s names or a middle name for [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] that would fit with our last name? I’m 28 weeks and ready to get things monogramed and ready for our baby’s arrival!!
Not sure if you intended this, but all your girls have 3 syllable first names and 1 syllable middle names…so maybe stick with a 3 syllable boy’s name and use [name_m]King[/name_m] as your 1 syllable middle? Here’s a few off the top of my head:
If your not in love with the name [name_m]Harrison[/name_m], you should definitely keep looking until you both are satisfied on a name:) Also I think [name_m]King[/name_m] is fine for a middle name
Here are some name combo ideas with H name alternatives:
[name_u]Hudson[/name_u] [name_m]King[/name_m] Bourgeois
[name_u]Hunter[/name_u] [name_m]King[/name_m] Bourgeois
[name_m]Harrold[/name_m] [name_m]King[/name_m] Bourgeois
[name_m]Harvey[/name_m] [name_m]King[/name_m] Bourgeois
[name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]King[/name_m] Bourgeois
[name_m]Heath[/name_m] [name_m]King[/name_m] Bourgeois
[name_m]Humbert[/name_m] [name_m]King[/name_m] Bourgeois
[name_m]Hans[/name_m] [name_m]King[/name_m] Bourgeois
I really like [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] [name_m]King[/name_m].
[name_m]Harrison[/name_m] [name_m]Jack[/name_m] first came to mind.
You could compromise and do [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] [name_m]Graham[/name_m]. Or [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] [name_m]Grant[/name_m]. I like the sound a little better of that one.
I like [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] [name_m]Graham[/name_m] and [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] [name_m]Grant[/name_m]! Hubby just suggested [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] [name_m]Archer[/name_m] Bourgeois. What do you all think of that? If he could pick a name, the baby’s name would either be [name_u]Sterling[/name_u] [name_m]Archer[/name_m] or [name_m]Jason[/name_m] [name_m]Paul[/name_m] Bourgeois II, but I’m not a fan of the name [name_m]Jason[/name_m] or [name_m]Paul[/name_m] and once my mother found out about the show [name_m]Archer[/name_m], she said that we were naming our baby after a womanizer, lol!
[name_m]Harrison[/name_m] reminds me of [name_u]Jameson[/name_u] if you like that. Normally I wouldn’t suggest [name_m]King[/name_m] but because it has family significance, I think it’s a good choice. I also like [name_m]Kingston[/name_m] although it doesn’t work well with [name_m]Harrison[/name_m].
So if we threw out all of our choices, what names would you all suggest with our 3 daughters names? I really think we are just back at square one again.
