Should we keep the pattern of “H” initial middle names going? With our two girls, we loved their middle names equally and spontaneously, but now we’re having trouble loving an “H” name for a third girl. The names we’ve come up with, although beautiful, don’t feel like “the one”. So it feels kinda like we’re forcing ourselves to love a name while there are so many others out there that might be perfect. Would it be bad to have just one kid with a different middle initial?
Our girls’ name list is still pretty long and I feel like we should have this more or less sorted out. Here are the ones we both love: [name_u]Vesper[/name_u], [name_f]Vera[/name_f] and [name_f]Valerie[/name_f]. I love [name_f]Vivianne[/name_f] and my partner is pushing for [name_f]Viola[/name_f]. The name we both really love is [name_u]Vesper[/name_u], but we have concerns that it’s too out there…

You definitely don’t have to keep the ‘H’ middle names unless you find a name you really love. [name_u]Vesper[/name_u], [name_f]Vera[/name_f] and [name_f]Valerie[/name_f] are beautiful girls names that sure do pair well with ‘H’ middle names though. To answer your concerns, [name_u]Vesper[/name_u] is a unique and may be an “out-there” name but it’s a cool, different name that your newest daughter can rock when she gets a bit older.

I think your VH theme is lovely, but I think you shouldn’t keep it if you can’t find a name you love. I like [name_u]Vesper[/name_u] the best of your names. It’s not too out there for me.

I wouldn’t settle for a H name just to keep with an accidental theme. Both my younger sister and I have M middles and our older sister does not. I know she hasn’t ever given it a second thought.
I’m sorry but I really don’t care for [name_u]Vesper[/name_u]. It sounds a bit harsh next to her sisters names. [name_f]Vivianne[/name_f] and [name_f]Viola[/name_f] sound best. Good luck!
I’m partial to [name_f]Viola[/name_f], love the name [name_f]Vera[/name_f], but if [name_u]Vesper[/name_u] is the one you and your partner love the most - go for it, seriously! It’s a lovely name, very glamorous in a film-noir, mysterious kind of way. It has a whispery sound that is very attractive, is strong and has a lovely meaning… I love [name_u]Vesper[/name_u] and would love to see it on more baby girls.
Sweetie, don’t go with an H middle if you’re not feeling it! So many gorgeous names out in the world!

As for the H middle, we’re still conflicted… But we’ll see. I f we fall in love with a name that feels better and more right than one with a capital “H”…
You should post names starting with other letters that you’re considering. Everyone could make you two some combos to think about. Using only V and H is kind of limiting =p
Unless you’re absolutely positive that you’re going with the initials of VH. In that case, nevermind and carry on.
