We are 6 weeks away from the arrival of our little girl and are having the hardest time deciding on a name! We have 4 names and we have reasons we like and maybe are hesitant about them. Please help!
[name]Juliet[/name]- we both love this name but neither of us like the nicknames, ie [name]Jules[/name] or [name]Julie[/name].
[name]Ruby[/name]- I love this name more than my hubby but is it becoming too popular?
[name]Olive[/name]- This is hubby’s favorite name, but I am not convinced.
[name]India[/name]- We both love this name and I personally don’t mind place names but we worry we will be forever explaining this name and that she may not like it. I love the nickname [name]Indie[/name].

[name]Olive[/name] is my favorite by a smidge… I like the association with olive branches and peace, plus [name]Liv[/name] or [name]Livie[/name] are great nicknames. [name]India[/name] is a very close second, I think it’s cool, spunky, and unique without being weird, and I absolutely love [name]Indie[/name] as well! [name]Ruby[/name] is pretty and fiery, but I do think it’s going to become more popular if that’s something that would bother you. [name]Juliet[/name] is sweet and feminine, and I wouldn’t worry so much about the nicknames. My name is [name]Julia[/name] and I’ve never gone by [name]Jules[/name] or [name]Julie[/name]… My family calls me Jul for short sometimes, but I always go by my full name, and [name]Juliet[/name] can too! [name]Ruby[/name] - it is gaining popularity, but I still would love to see it used. I’ve only come across one [name]Ruby[/name] so it seems very usable and fresh to me still.
[name]Olive[/name] - this is my favorite, too! I love [name]Liv[/name] names and if I didn’t love [name]Olivia[/name] so much, [name]Olive[/name] would likely be on my top 3 instead of [name]Olivia[/name]. It seems so natural, sweet, and pretty, in an understated way. I would love to meet a little [name]Olive[/name]! I actually love [name]Olive[/name] [name]Juliet[/name] as a combo.
[name]India[/name] - my least favorite, actually. I like it, but just don’t love it like the other three.

[name]Juliet[/name] is really the only one I like on your list. you could call her [name]Ettie[/name] or [name]Lettie[/name]. I love the nickname [name]Indie[/name], but may I suggest [name]Indira[/name] as a way to get to [name]Indie[/name]. I love [name]Indira[/name].
