I’ve posted before about our upcoming baby (gender unknown) due in [name]March[/name]. Brother is [name]Archer[/name] [name]Cole[/name]. I love strong names that are a little different but not out there, interesting & that make you go ‘oh, how nice!’ when you hear it. And to note, when we named [name]Archer[/name], it was unheard of! We live in the country in Aus so while the names on my boys list may be common to other berries, they definitely aren’t here!
We’re running out of time & I need some fresh ideas! We have a girls name sorted I think. So to give you an idea, names I love but can’t use as fn are [name]Flynn[/name], [name]Cole[/name] & [name]Griffin[/name].
Our two front runners are
[name]Hugo[/name] [name]Flynn[/name]
[name]Hudson[/name] [name]Arlo[/name]
[name]Both[/name] fn are names that acquaintances elsewhere have used & for that reason I would feel that the name wasn’t entirely my baby’s, if that makes sense! [name]Hudson[/name], I know is getting trendier which I don’t like, but my husband & I honeymooned in [name]New[/name] [name]York[/name] & loved it so much & so there’s that connection. [name]Love[/name] Hud as a nn too. [name]Hugo[/name] seems friendlier, & I do like the ‘o’ ending.
Other names that my husband will agree to: [name]Harris[/name], [name]Jed[/name], [name]Evan[/name], [name]Owen[/name], [name]Hallam[/name] & [name]Dex[/name]. None of them jump out at me!
Other names on my list: [name]Sullivan[/name], [name]Rafe[/name], [name]Jude[/name], [name]Gabe[/name], [name]Kit[/name], [name]Beckett[/name].

I love [name]Hudson[/name] [name]Arlo[/name]! Yes, it’s getting trendy, but if it has a special meaning to you and your husband, I say go for it. You said you liked the “o” ending in [name]Hugo[/name], but [name]Arlo[/name] has the same thing. Hud is an adorable nickname. Best of luck to you and your expanding family!

[name]Hudson[/name] [name]Arlo[/name] is fabulous! I like that much better than [name]Hugo[/name] [name]Flynn[/name]. That could be due to the fact that I live in the southern US and [name]Hugo[/name] & [name]Flynn[/name] are both names I am not used to hearing. I love the flow of [name]Hudson[/name] [name]Arlo[/name]! (They are not names I hear here either…but the flow seems more natural to me). I also like [name]Harris[/name] (or maybe [name]Harrison[/name]), [name]Sullivan[/name], [name]Jude[/name], and [name]Gabe[/name]. I think [name]Archer[/name] goes well with those.
I love [name]Hugo[/name]! Although I’m not fond of [name]Hudson[/name], I love [name]Arlo[/name]. I also thought of [name]Huxley[/name] and [name]Hawthorn[/name] for you too. What about [name]Oscar[/name], [name]Milo[/name], [name]Silas[/name], [name]Clyde[/name] or [name]Rigby[/name]?
I don’t like [name]Hudson[/name]. Hud means garbage. At least, it does where I live. [name]Hugo[/name] is very cute and stylish. [name]Love[/name] [name]Gabe[/name] with [name]Archer[/name]. I like both my front runner names but there’s something about them that makes me stop at fully committing! Wish I could get past it!
