I am looking for some advice on a sibling name for [name]Avery[/name] (daughter). If it’s a girl we think we are going to go with [name]Quinn[/name] [name]Eden[/name] (we wanted the girl name to be unisex and love [name]Quinn[/name], and [name]Eden[/name] is in honour of my mother).
We are having a much harder time with a boy name to go with [name]Avery[/name] (despite that vast amount of hours I have spent on this amazing web-site)!
So far our short-list includes:
[name]Emmett[/name]
[name]Connor[/name]
[name]Tate[/name]
[name]Paxton[/name]
[name]Nathaniel[/name] (this would have been the name if we had had a boy…just not sure about it now).
and we love [name]Sebastian[/name], but not the potential teasing nicknames…
All with [name]Leo[/name] as a middle name, or [name]Paxton[/name] placed in the middle spot - both of those also hold meaning for my mother.
We would also consider [name]Leo[/name] as a first name , however the last name is two syllables with an ‘O’ ending, so not sure if it works.
Please help!!! Which name do you think goes best with [name]Avery[/name]? Thanks in advance

The problem with [name]Connor[/name] (for me) is that the name feels dated, and a lot of the Connors I know are troublemakers.
ah yes!! that’s the word I was looking for, [name]Connor[/name] does feel “dated”…too bad…I like the sound if it, especially with the name [name]Avery[/name].
I don’t know, I was going to say I like [name]Connor[/name]! For me, since [name]Avery[/name] is rather unisex, I would choose a name that definitely isn’t unisex - and [name]Connor[/name] is very much a boy to me. I’ve sadly known girls with several of your other choices.
On a random note, the [name]Avery[/name] (girl) I know, has a brother named [name]Keegan[/name].
I agree, [name]Connor[/name] is very much boy for me too. [name]Emmett[/name] as well, but I think it is starting to be used for girls a little. Which I am totally fine with, but I agree with you and think a non-unisex name would be better if it’s a boy.
