[name_f]Zara[/name_f] [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] is perfection!

[name_f]Zara[/name_f] [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f]! I’ve had [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] [name_f]Zara[/name_f] on my list before and I love the mix of classic and feisty styles with those two names. [name_f]Zara[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] is also very pretty, but I much prefer [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f].

I love the name [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] but if you want people to say it with the -len ending I would suggest [name_f]Madeline[/name_f]. The -leine ending is generally pronounced like line.

The exact opposite is true, in my opinion/experience. Haha

[name_f]Zara[/name_f] [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] is absolutely gorgeous!

I disagree. I believe [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] is [name_m]French[/name_m] and correctly pronounced mad-eh-len.
Besides, if it’s the middle name you can spell it how you like as it won’t be said that often.

Yeah, when I read [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] I pronounce it with “line.” [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] is the correct [name_m]French[/name_m] spelling and a the correct [name_m]French[/name_m] pronunciation is “len.” It’s actually taken me some time to adjust to because I’m so used to [name_f]Madeline[/name_f], a name I’ve loved for years. But I think [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] flows better with [name_f]Zara[/name_f].

My concern with [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] is that it goes “zar-uh mad-uh” it’s a little bit repetitive sound-wise.

I love [name_f]Zara[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]! I see [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] as a new classic - very pretty.

I love both but slightly prefer [name_f]Zara[/name_f] [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f]. Beautiful name!

[name_f]Zara[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]! [name_f]Zara[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]! [name_m]Just[/name_m] gorgeous.

I like them both, but I think [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] beats out [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f]. [name_f]Zara[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] has a better mix of sounds than [name_f]Zara[/name_f] [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f]. I’d say both combos with the last name a few times–sometimes that can be a tiebreaker.

I also fine [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] to be “line” and [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] to be “[name_u]Lynn[/name_u]”.

I voted [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] but they are both lovely

[name_f]Zara[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] is gorgeous;) just do not care for [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f]…don’t really know why…haha…

[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]… always have…always will…

[name_f]Zara[/name_f] [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] flows better, imo.

I totally agree!

[name_f]Zara[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] sounds great and flows beautifully! No matter how you pronounce [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] (I’d say it like “line”, with this spelling") I think the flow isn’t as flawless as your first combo.

I prefer [name_f]Zara[/name_f] [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] MUCH more! Great combo. I just don’t like [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] at all

I agree; Madeleine is the French spelling & is pronounced Mad-del-enn. Madeline is the spelling associated w/Mad-el-ine.

To decide between the two, I’d say both combos w/your last name to see which one flows more smoothly. W/o knowing your last name, it’s difficult for me to pick one, as they both work well as combos. Singly I prefer Juliet to Madeleine, but w/Zara they both sound good. BTW, how are you pronouncing Zara…Zah-ruh or Zaaa-ruh? (The first pronunciation sounds like what one says when the doctor asks you to open your mouth & say “Ah”; the second one rhymes w/Sarah.)
