I am due in Septmeber, and am having a very hard time finding a name that I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u]! Well…there are is a name that I do love but unfortunately it is too close to the name of another child in my family- yes, I do see this child often. The name that I love is [name_m]Adriel[/name_m]- the name of the other child in the family is [name_m]Aviel[/name_m]. I would definitely like a name that is unique but is not too “strange”. I am absolutely open to all ideas, as I clearly can’t come up with a name in which myself and my husband can agree on…
Other names I have liked are [name_m]Miles[/name_m] (am seriously considering this as a middle name), [name_m]Milo[/name_m] (but a family member just recently named their dog this. Awkward.), [name_m]Liam[/name_m] (but was then told this is a VERY Irish name? Both my husband and I are Hispanic), [name_m]Axel[/name_m] (husband doesn’t approve), [name_m]Enzo[/name_m], [name_m]Jasper[/name_m]…
I don’t think [name_m]Adriel[/name_m] is too close to [name_m]Aviel[/name_m] for what it is worth
[name_m]Liam[/name_m] doesn’t feel very Irish at all (and I live in [name_f]Ireland[/name_f]) sure Irish but not very Irish at all

[name_m]Axel[/name_m] I’m with your husband, I prefer [name_m]Aksel[/name_m] but still not that fussed

You want something not too common but also not all too weird, that shouldn’t be too difficult:
I like [name_m]Miles[/name_m] a lot so if you consider that as a middle, then that’s a great idea

[name_u]August[/name_u] [name_m]Miles[/name_m]- [name_u]August[/name_u] seems like a great name to fit with [name_m]Miles[/name_m], and -although it’s rising in popularity- it’s most certainly not too popular
[name_m]Ezra[/name_m] [name_m]Miles[/name_m]- what about [name_m]Ezra[/name_m]? It fits with [name_m]Miles[/name_m] and also matches the names you mentioned earlier on (like [name_m]Enzo[/name_m])
[name_m]Adrian[/name_m] [name_m]Miles[/name_m]- Since you liked [name_m]Adriel[/name_m], maybe you’re open to a bit more classic [name_m]Adrian[/name_m]? They both come with the cute nickname [name_u]Ari[/name_u]
[name_m]Philip[/name_m] [name_m]Miles[/name_m]- [name_m]Philip[/name_m] is a name that isn’t as used as much as it was back in the day. But it’s still known and sounds rather cute with [name_m]Miles[/name_m]. I would personally try to find another nickname then [name_u]Phil[/name_u] for your son, such as [name_m]Pip[/name_m] (or just tell everyone his name is [name_m]Philip[/name_m], not [name_u]Phil[/name_u])
I like Miles a lot. Liam is very popular. It’s the number 2 name in the US anyway, which would deter me. I’d suggest Adrian which is similar to Adriel, but not as similar to Aviel.
