Me and my husband have been going back and forth for some time now and I have overanalyzed all of our names. We seriously can’t make a decision!
Our babygirls older brother is named [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] and we want the name to work with his name.
We are down to to names, [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] and [name_f]Leah[/name_f]- which one do you like the best and which one works best with [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m]?
(We dont live in a english speaking country so I’m sorry about the grammar )
I think either one works really well; I slightly prefer [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] with [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] - [name_f]Liv[/name_f] and [name_u]Max[/name_u] is adorable! Good luck and congratulations!
I love [name_f]Olivia[/name_f]. I love [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] because of the charming, dramatic and critical little pig from the books (that my children all adore!). I love [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] for her sweetness and the same time for it’s effortless elegance and beauty. I think [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] though not very long is a versatile and easy name to fit anywhere in the globe. I think it’s the best fit with a brother [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] (for me as in [name_u]Max[/name_u] from “Where the [name_m]Wild[/name_m] Things Are”), because they both carry lovely children’s book associations and simply because they sound brilliant together.
In all honestly, I feel like [name_f]Leah[/name_f] is simply an okay name. It’s not terrible and it’s not exactly charming or beautiful to me either. I guess you can say I’m lukewarm about it, a lukewarmness that I most definitely do not feel with [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m]. [name_f]Leah[/name_f] fades in comparison.
[name_f]Leah[/name_f] is pretty but I think that [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] works a lot better with [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m]. [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] is one of my personal favourites.
[name_f]Liv[/name_f] and [name_u]Max[/name_u] - adorable
I think [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] works better with [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m], but overall I like the name [name_f]Leah[/name_f] better. As previous posters have pointed out, [name_f]Liv[/name_f] and [name_u]Max[/name_u] are adorable. Especially if [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] goes by [name_u]Max[/name_u], a little [name_f]Leah[/name_f] may wish she had a shorter version to go by too, so she could be like her big brother. [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] nicknamed [name_f]Liv[/name_f] would be perfect.
I prefer [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] and [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] together. The names flow better together in my opinion versus [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] and [name_f]Leah[/name_f].
I vote [name_f]Olivia[/name_f], too! They sound great together and [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] is such a beautiful name. I’m jealous that it may not be so popular where you live, because here in the US, it’s very common.
