Please judge me! Girl combos.

Same as my boys list, these are my top girls combinations. Please let me know what you think! Some of these I’m not married to. If you can think of better middle name suggestions please let me know because I think we can do better! Thank you lovelies.

[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Florence[/name_f]
[name_f]Blythe[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_f]Louisa[/name_f]
[name_f]Harriet[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]
[name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]
[name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]
[name_f]Mattea[/name_f] [name_f]Francesca[/name_f]
[name_f]Miranda[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f]
[name_f]Saffron[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f]
[name_f]Susannah[/name_f] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f]
[name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u]

[name_f]Miranda[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] is very sweet, and I adore the name [name_f]Saffron[/name_f]! I might pair it w/[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] or [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f].

I like [name_f]Miranda[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f].

[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Florence[/name_f]- I’d prefer [name_f]Florence[/name_f] as a first name, as I like it so much more than [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]! But it’s still a sweet combo.
[name_f]Blythe[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]- I’d also like this switched around.
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]- So prettyt!
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_f]Louisa[/name_f]- Another one I’d like better switched around ([name_f]Louisa[/name_f] [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] has so much spunk!)
[name_f]Harriet[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]- This is alright.They don’t really clock together.
[name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]- [name_f]LOVE[/name_f].
[name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]- Prefer [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]. Still, really like.
[name_f]Mattea[/name_f] [name_f]Francesca[/name_f]- Probably my least favorite combo. [name_f]Mattea[/name_f] doesn’t sit right with me.
[name_f]Miranda[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f]- ALso don’t like, but that’s because of the connotations I have with [name_f]Miranda[/name_f].
[name_f]Saffron[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f]- Dislike.
[name_f]Susannah[/name_f] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f]- Pretty! Much better [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] combo.
[name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u]- [name_f]Love[/name_f] this!

I like your style a lot- I think I would switch around a few of your combos, that’s all.

[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Florence[/name_f] - [name_f]Florence[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] is ethereal. [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]'s just so popular as of late, and [name_f]Florence[/name_f] gives me a dainty, elegant vibe.
[name_f]Blythe[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] - I dislike [name_f]Blythe[/name_f]'s sound, and [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] just sounds like harlot to me.
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] - Meh.
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] - [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] doesn’t go with [name_f]Louisa[/name_f]. [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_u]Clare[/name_u]? [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_f]Florence[/name_f]?
[name_f]Harriet[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] - [name_m]Both[/name_m] are a little stuffy. Not really my style, but a good strong combo.
[name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] - Stunning.
[name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] - Also lovely. [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Margot[/name_f] is as well.
[name_f]Mattea[/name_f] [name_f]Francesca[/name_f] - Bit of a mouthful. I like [name_f]Tea[/name_f] (can’t do an accent aigu on my current device) on its own, though.
[name_f]Miranda[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] - Cute.
[name_f]Saffron[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] - Funky. In a good way.
[name_f]Susannah[/name_f] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] - An old, distinguished Southern lady from the Civil War who wears lace dresses and carries a parasol.
[name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] - I really dislike both of these.

My favourites are bolded

[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Florence[/name_f]
[name_f]Blythe[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] - I’d use something a bit more unique with [name_f]Blythe[/name_f]. [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] [name_f]Rosetta[/name_f], [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f], [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] [name_f]Francesca[/name_f]?
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] - prefer just [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f].
[name_f]Harriet[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]
[name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] - doesn’t flow as nicely as some of the others on this list, [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Florence[/name_f], [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Rosanna[/name_f], [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Violetta[/name_f]?
[name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]
[name_f]Mattea[/name_f] [name_f]Francesca[/name_f] - not a fan of [name_f]Mattea[/name_f]
[name_f]Miranda[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f]
[name_f]Saffron[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] - prefer [name_f]Saffron[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] or [name_f]Saffron[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Susannah[/name_f] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f]
[name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u]

Overall, it’s a lovely list!

[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Florence[/name_f]- pretty and classy, and I love the nod to [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] Hepburn!
[name_f]Blythe[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]- I prefer [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f]. sweet and easy to wear though
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]- it flows really well. not a [name_f]Clara[/name_f] fan but love [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_f]Louisa[/name_f]- also sounds good together, but dislike [name_f]Daphne[/name_f]. [name_f]Louisa[/name_f]'s really pretty- maybe [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] [name_f]Mabel[/name_f]?
[name_f]Harriet[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]- lovely and vintage-chic
[name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]- [name_f]Mabel[/name_f]'s a great vintage revival pick, and [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] is gorgeous. [name_f]Love[/name_f] the character too!
[name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]- a beautiful antique gemstone of a name that feels both on-trend and ahead of the curve
[name_f]Mattea[/name_f] [name_f]Francesca[/name_f]- again, I’d flip it but simply because I love [name_f]Francesca[/name_f]!
[name_f]Miranda[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f]- a lot more modern than most of your names, but I like it
[name_f]Saffron[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f]- both are nice names on their own, but [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] seems a bit heavy and stodgy next to [name_f]Saffron[/name_f]… [name_f]Saffron[/name_f] [name_f]Miranda[/name_f]? [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f]?
[name_f]Susannah[/name_f] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f]- my favourite of your combos- sweet, spunky, bouncy, fun
[name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u]- not a fan of [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f], but they sound good together. [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] makes a lovely middle for a girl.

My tastes run pretty conservative, but my favorites are [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Florence[/name_f] and [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]. I’m not fond of [name_f]Saffron[/name_f] or [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] as first or middle names. Best of luck!

[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Florence[/name_f]- nice, but not my favorite
[name_f]Blythe[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]- same as above
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]- I love both of these names a lot
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_f]Louisa[/name_f]- I like these names as well, though I think [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] flows a bit better
[name_f]Harriet[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]- I’ve never cared for [name_f]Harriet[/name_f](it’s okay), though I do like [name_f]Josephine[/name_f], especially with the nickname [name_f]Posy[/name_f]
[name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]- I really like [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] (pronounced rose-a-lind). I don’t like [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] at all
[name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]- cute
[name_f]Mattea[/name_f] [name_f]Francesca[/name_f]- [name_f]Francesca[/name_f] is beautiful
[name_f]Miranda[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f]- [name_f]Miranda[/name_f] is also beautiful
[name_f]Saffron[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f]- [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] is nice
[name_f]Susannah[/name_f] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f]- I like this name
[name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u]- not bad

[name_f]Love[/name_f] [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] and [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Florence[/name_f]. Others are lovely, except saffron. [name_m]Don[/name_m]'t like that as a name.

I find these quite perfect! : [name_f]Miranda[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f], [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] and [name_f]Saffron[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f]
I find these not quite perfect but really good  : [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] and [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]

I would tweak these:
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Florence[/name_f] - It’s the ending syllables (rey rence) I think.
[name_f]Blythe[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] - The bit in the middle, the-Ch, is hardish to say. [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] is so hard to pair with a middle because it sounds like you’re describing someone else - [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], Sad [name_f]Emily[/name_f], etc. I’d leave [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] after [name_f]Susannah[/name_f], it’s wonderful there.
[name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] - I prefer the look of [name_f]Margo[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] or Margeaux [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f].
[name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] - The repeating v’s make this a teeny bit “blurry” to me plus I much prefer [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] or [name_f]Sylvana[/name_f] to [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f]. I’d put [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] with something where it “pops” a bit more. (?)
[name_f]Mattea[/name_f] [name_f]Francesca[/name_f] -[name_f]Viva[/name_f] [name_f]Italia[/name_f]! hehe. I like a bit of surprise in a combo, so I’d pair the underused (in USA) [name_f]Mattea[/name_f] with something contrasting.

Perhaps…

[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]
[name_f]Florence[/name_f] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u]
[name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]
[name_f]Mattea[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f]

[name_f]Mattea[/name_f] really stood out for some reason. [name_f]Love[/name_f] it. I also like [name_f]Blythe[/name_f], [name_f]Daphne[/name_f], [name_f]Miranda[/name_f], [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] and [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] is the best combo on here, but [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is great too. I’d like [name_f]Mattea[/name_f] better with a middle that doesn’t end in A. [name_f]Mattea[/name_f] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f]? [name_f]Mattea[/name_f] [name_f]Harriet[/name_f]? [name_f]Mattea[/name_f] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u]?

I really like:
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Florence[/name_f]
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_f]Louisa[/name_f]
[name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]
[name_f]Miranda[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f]
[name_f]Susannah[/name_f] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f]- not a huge fan of [name_f]Blythe[/name_f], but it sounds nice with [name_f]Susannah[/name_f]
[name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u]

[name_f]Miranda[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] and [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] Valintine are absolutely GORGEOUS

[name_f]Love[/name_f]:
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Florence[/name_f]
[name_f]Harriet[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]
[name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]

Like:
[name_f]Blythe[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_f]Louisa[/name_f]
[name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]
[name_f]Mattea[/name_f] [name_f]Francesca[/name_f]
[name_f]Miranda[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f]

Dislike:
[name_f]Saffron[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f]
[name_f]Susannah[/name_f] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f]
[name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u]

Ooh, quick feedback! Thanks girls

I should clarify - the first names are pretty much set as my favourites. I’m not really asking for opinions along the lines of “I don’t like [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f]” but rather comments on the first and middle combinations and suggestions for alternative middles. Anyway…

@rkrd - Nice to see some [name_f]Saffron[/name_f] love  Most people on this site seem to dislike her for some reason.

@kerrycl - [name_f]Miranda[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] came to me like a bolt from the blue! I’m loving this combo at the moment and I’m glad you are too!

@ajbear - I don’t really want to switch names around because the first names are my favourites. I’m just looking for great middles to pair with them. [name_f]Glad[/name_f] you like most of my names!

@bibliophile - I agree, I think [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] needs a different middle. I have to think more on that one.

@lawsonhaley - I’m not keen on my [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] combo either. Need to think of another middle, but middles for [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] are really hard!

@bonfireazalea - Thanks for your comments! I think I agree about [name_f]Saffron[/name_f]. [name_f]Saffron[/name_f] [name_f]Miranda[/name_f] is a nice idea.

@mill - I love [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] and [name_f]Clara[/name_f] as well. They’re two of my favourites!

@aileen - Thanks for your comments!

@jpr - [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] and [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] are probably my top two at the moment!

@peanut - I think [name_f]Mattea[/name_f] [name_f]Francesca[/name_f] is a bit too Italian. But the combo sounds good. I need other ideas for [name_f]Mattea[/name_f]!

@cristinamariane - [name_f]Mattea[/name_f] is awesome! [name_f]Mattea[/name_f] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] is a great idea, actually.

@hardertobreathe - Thanks for your comments!

@misskendra - Thanks! I love them too :slight_smile:

@fiammetta - Thanks for contributing!

[name_f]Susannah[/name_f] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] and [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]

I don’t have time to write an in-depth response, but I just wanted to say that [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f], [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f], and [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] are so ridiculously charming! [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] and [name_f]Clara[/name_f] are two classic favorites of mine too, but the combos you have them in don’t jump out to me. [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f]/[name_f]Francesca[/name_f] and [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] maybe?

[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Florence[/name_f] - I adore both names, but together they’re not my favourite combo. Pretty though.
[name_f]Blythe[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] - nice
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] - beautiful and classic. You can’t go wrong with this.
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] - sweet and pretty.
[name_f]Harriet[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] - dislike [name_f]Harriet[/name_f], sorry.
[name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] - nice flow, but not my favourite.
[name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] - dislike. (but feel free to ignore me, as I just don’t get both names)
[name_f]Mattea[/name_f] [name_f]Francesca[/name_f] - I’s love to meet a little [name_f]Mattea[/name_f]! Not with [name_f]Francesca[/name_f], I think.
[name_f]Miranda[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] - [name_f]Adore[/name_f] both names, but not as a combo.
[name_f]Saffron[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] - prettty!
[name_f]Susannah[/name_f] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] - sweet.
[name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] - not sure.

[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Florence[/name_f] — Very pretty combo, but [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] is a little too popular for me to get excited about.
[name_f]Blythe[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] — Not a fan of [name_f]Blythe[/name_f], for a real little girl, but this sounds like an enchanting name for a literary character!
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] — [name_f]Clara[/name_f] is one of my grandmothers’ names and I’m fond of it, but I think [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] needs to be saddled with a much more distinctive name in order to enhance the combo overall.
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] — I think I’d rather hear “[name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f].”
[name_f]Harriet[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] — I like this! [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] is one of my faves, and I’ve always had a soft spot for [name_f]Harriet[/name_f].
[name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] — I’m lukewarm on this one. Not a huge fan of [name_f]Mabel[/name_f], I guess.
[name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] — I’m really not a fan of [name_f]Margot[/name_f].
[name_f]Mattea[/name_f] [name_f]Francesca[/name_f] — I adore [name_f]Mattea[/name_f] but I dislike the rhyming here with [name_f]Francesca[/name_f].
[name_f]Miranda[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] — [name_m]Don[/name_m]'t care for [name_f]Miranda[/name_f], but the combo sounds nice.
[name_f]Saffron[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] — I’m… let’s just say, not “mad about [name_f]Saffron[/name_f]!”
[name_f]Susannah[/name_f] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] — For an old-timey name like [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] (which is still very cute and rather fresh today given how uncommon it is!) I think I’d like to see a little more of an updated name in the middle spot.
[name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] — I could like this depending on the child’s ethnicity. [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] could be over the top.
