Need opinions on [name]Madelyn[/name] [name]Sabella[/name]!

Hasn’t some celebrity just named their daughter [name]Sabella[/name]?

I think it’s a poor attempt to edge away from [name]Isabella[/name], and I don’t like it. Despite the popularity [name]Isabella[/name] is a beautiful and if only in the middle name spot I don’t see the issue with using it.

[name]Madelyn[/name] [name]Isabella[/name] would be much nicer, better still would be [name]Madeleine[/name] [name]Isabella[/name]. The [name]Lyn[/name] ending is so cheap and trendy to me, sorry.

I have to agree with the pp for the most part, though I don’t find anything really wrong with [name]Madelyn[/name] [name]Sabella[/name].

I like the spelling [name]Madelyn[/name], it makes it easier to understand what pronunciation you perfer. [name]Madeleine[/name] can be tricky (is it mad-e-leen? mad-e-line?) so the -lyn spelling is more obvious. Also, I think it looks more modern, without looking stupid.
