Please pick 4...

Thank you so much for everyone who has helped so far. Your opinions and thoughts really do help!

Please pick your top 4 choices. Also, are there any names on the list that you particularly don’t like? [name_m]Little[/name_m] boy will have a sister [name_f]Eleni[/name_f] (pronounced Eh-[name_m]LEN[/name_m]-ee). We are a Greek/Italian family so Greek names are kind of the norm for us, but our children will be going to public school and I don’t want them to be condemned to having a name no one can pronounce. At the same time, my dad already started calling the little boy by his name (Themistocles). I love my dad so much, he is a huge role model, but I’m much on the fence that his name is too Greek. Please pick out the 4 names you like most! Thank you SO much!!

[name_u]Emerson[/name_u]
[name_m]Silas[/name_m]
[name_m]Henry[/name_m]
[name_u]Noah[/name_u]
[name_m]Eli[/name_m]
[name_u]Elliott[/name_u]
[name_m]Anderson[/name_m]
Nicodemis ([name_u]Nico[/name_u], pronounced Nee-co, for short)
[name_m]Dimitri[/name_m]
[name_m]Leonidas[/name_m] ([name_m]Leo[/name_m], for short) <— my grandfather’s name.
Themistocles (I have no idea what the nickname would be. Pronounced them-ee-sto-CLEES) <— my dad’s name.
Christos
Thomas <— the English version of Themistocles. My dad prefers Themistocles though and doesn’t really like ‘Thomas’.
William (Will, for short)
Jarett <— my husband’s name. So Jarett Jr.

Thanks again!

my personal favorites -

[name_u]Emerson[/name_u]
[name_m]Henry[/name_m]
[name_u]Noah[/name_u]
[name_u]Elliott[/name_u]

I would put [name_m]Jarret[/name_m] in the middle automatically since I am not a fan of giving a child the same name as one of their parents. I love the name [name_m]Jarret[/name_m] though.

I would choose [name_u]Noah[/name_u], [name_m]William[/name_m], [name_m]Silas[/name_m], or [name_m]Dimitri[/name_m] as my top four.

I think [name_m]Silas[/name_m] and [name_f]Eleni[/name_f] sound great together.

My favorites are [name_m]Henry[/name_m], [name_u]Noah[/name_u], [name_u]Emerson[/name_u], [name_m]Silas[/name_m], [name_m]Eli[/name_m], [name_m]Leonidas[/name_m] (didn’t really like it before, but knowing it’s a family name, I like it so much more now!), [name_m]Thomas[/name_m], and [name_m]Christos[/name_m]. What about putting [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] on the birth certificate, but your dad could call him Themistocles? Would that work? Or too complicated for you? My mom always wanted a [name_u]Charlie[/name_u], but my dad disliked the name, so I have [name_m]Charles[/name_m] as a MN for several of my combos to honor her, and if I ever use one of those combos, I plan on telling her that she can call him [name_u]Charlie[/name_u], as her special name. I’d love to be able to give her a [name_u]Charlie[/name_u], even though the rest of us would call him [name_u]Everett[/name_u], or [name_u]Emerson[/name_u], or [name_u]Bailey[/name_u], or whatever name I have it as a MN for. Maybe [name_m]Thomas[/name_m]/Themistocles could work the same way?

Anyway, my top four: [name_m]Henry[/name_m], [name_m]Thomas[/name_m], [name_u]Noah[/name_u], [name_m]Leonidas[/name_m]. I think. I really love [name_m]Silas[/name_m], [name_m]Dimitri[/name_m], and [name_m]Eli[/name_m] for you, too.

Good luck!

[name_m]Leonidas[/name_m], [name_m]Henry[/name_m], [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] and [name_m]Christos[/name_m].

[name_f]Eleni[/name_f] and [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] are perfect together.

[name_m]Silas[/name_m] Themistocles!!

My votes to go with [name_f]Eleni[/name_f], given your family background:

[name_m]Christos[/name_m]
[name_m]Leonidas[/name_m] nn [name_m]Leo[/name_m]
[name_u]Nico[/name_u] (I’d just use the short form, but either way)
[name_m]Silas[/name_m]

Good luck!!
