[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f], closely followed by [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u]. I think I love them equally, but [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] wins, because it’s a timeless classic. [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] sounds beautiful, but feels like a fad name.

I also like [name_f]Bronwyn[/name_f] (although I prefer the spelling [name_f]Bronwen[/name_f]) and [name_f]Mavis[/name_f] from your list.

My top pick would be [name_f]Margaret[/name_f], followed by [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f].

I picked [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f], but [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] is a close second. [name_m]Both[/name_m] are great classic names with good nickname options. The others are not really my style.

[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] is my top choice, followed by [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] (I love how it has so many nickname options).

I voted for [name_f]Margaret[/name_f]. I also like [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] and [name_f]Bronwyn[/name_f], but only if you were to use the proper feminine spelling of [name_f]Bronwen[/name_f]. The -wyn ending is masculine in Welsh. It’s like naming a boy [name_f]Josephine[/name_f].

My favorite would be [name_f]Margaret[/name_f].

I was torn between [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] and [name_f]Bronwyn[/name_f]. Although I know all female [name_f]Bronwyn[/name_f]'s (from [name_m]Wales[/name_m]) and 0 [name_f]Bronwen[/name_f]'s/Male [name_f]Bronwyn[/name_f]'s, I do have to admit, [name_f]Bronwen[/name_f]

a) looks more attractive - the ‘y’ will likely come off as ‘trendy’ in the US (even though it’s a legit spelling)
b) [name_f]Bronwen[/name_f] is traditionally female and there for, I feel like that one is best suited for a girl.

Actually, I think that’s a bit of a stretch, I know about 4 [name_f]Bronwyn[/name_f]'s and all are female, 2 are Welsh, 1 is Irish, 1 is English, so I think it’s more like naming a boy [name_f]Ryleigh[/name_f] or [name_f]Morganne[/name_f] rather than [name_u]Riley[/name_u] or [name_u]Morgan[/name_u].

[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] is my personal favorite.
But I think [name_f]Mavis[/name_f] is lovely and underloved so I voted for her

[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f], then [name_f]Margaret[/name_f].

In your case, though, since you lean toward [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u], I would do [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] nn [name_f]Margo[/name_f]/[name_f]Margot[/name_f].

I picked [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] as it is classic, will age well and has several nn choices, [name_f]Maggie[/name_f], [name_f]Meg[/name_f], etc. There is a whole blog actually on the nicknames for [name_f]Margaret[/name_f].
