I get [name]Jacob[/name] and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat stuck in my head whenever I see this name
[name]Reuben[/name] was the eldest of the children of [name]Israel[/name]
With [name]Simeon[/name] and [name]Levi[/name] the next in line
[name]Naphtali[/name] and Isaachar with [name]Asher[/name] and [name]Dan[/name]
[name]Zebulun[/name] and [name]Gad[/name] took the total to nine
[name]Jacob[/name], [name]Jacob[/name] and sons,
[name]Benjamin[/name] and [name]Judah[/name], which leaves only one
[name]Jacob[/name], [name]Jacob[/name] and sons,
[name]Joseph[/name] - [name]Jacob[/name]'s favourite son
I don’t see anything wrong with the name [name]Asher[/name]–if someone likes the name, they should be able to use it. I do like the biblical history behind the name!
haha, well you’re probably going to be singing it for quite awhile, [name]Asher[/name] is on the top of all the up and coming name lists that I’ve seen
LOL, that is unfortunate for you! I can’t think of how that song goes. But I’m not going to listen to it because then I think I’ll always get it stuck in my head!
I’m sorry you take offense!
My second sons name is [name]Asher[/name]!
That’s sort of the reason I chose it. I had no idea what I was planning to name him, and my husband took me to the musical, and I fell in love with the name [name]Asher[/name], because of it’s meaning (blessed and happy) and the song…
But we call him [name]Ash[/name]
