Just in my opinion:
[name_f]Emma[/name_f] 7/10 - I love [name_f]Emma[/name_f], but it’s a bit too popular for my taste
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f] 6.5/10 - as above
[name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] 4.5/10 - I prefer the way this sounds out loud than how it looks on paper
[name_f]Hailey[/name_f] 3/10 - feels a little dated, but I like the look
[name_f]Jayne[/name_f] 2/10 - not my thing

Hailey - 8/10. Not my style but still sweet and timeless. I know people of all generations with this name.

[name_f]Jayne[/name_f] - 7/10. Feels fairly dated but the spelling makes it feel fresher and new.
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f] - 5/10. Not any opinions on this one really. Not my style but still totally usable.
[name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] - 3/10. I’ve known too many [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f]’s in such a small amount of time that this name doesn’t seem to have much impact anymore.
Hailey 6/10 Sweet and simple, i think this is a lovely name but possibly getting a little dated with the rise of [name_f]Hallie[/name_f], [name_u]Harlow[/name_u], [name_u]Hadley[/name_u] etc.
Emma 7/10 A beautiful name and meaning but a little too popular for me x
Jayne 4/10 Its okay but I much prefer just [name_f]Jane[/name_f], the ‘y’ seems a little unnecessary imo. I like [name_f]Jayne[/name_f] as a middle but probably not as a first.

[name_f]Hailey[/name_f] - 8/10 it’s a sweet and fun name that I’ve loved through the decades. It was my first “favorite” name so I’ve got a huge soft spot for it. I don’t give it a higher score because nowadays I think it’s a little essential “00’s girl”.
[name_f]Emma[/name_f] - 5/10 sweet, charming and friendly, just way too obvious and I think a little uninspired. Everyone is an [name_f]Emma[/name_f], has an [name_f]Emma[/name_f] or knows an [name_f]Emma[/name_f], so it’s hard to see the spark of it, though it is there somewhere still.
Jayne - 7/10, would be higher if spelled [name_f]Jane[/name_f], but its an elegant same because it’s also so simple! Unlike [name_f]Emma[/name_f], I think it still has an ability to be memorable and make an impression.
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f] - 7/10, I dislike this name but only due to negative associations. It does have many good qualities that aren’t lost because it’s popular.
[name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] - 4/10, there’s nothing wrong with it, I just think its a bit on the bland side of names. Maybe I just need to meet a memorable [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f], but would find [name_f]Alicia[/name_f] or [name_f]Alice[/name_f] far more memorable and not as trapped in a specific era.
