Please share your thoughts on this sib-set

We found two boy, and two girl names that we agree on! (All the middles are family names.) I would love to hear what you think of our 4 favorite names as a sib-set. Please share!!!

[name]Griffin[/name] Colane (nn [name]Griff[/name])
[name]Beckett[/name] [name]Ward[/name] (nn [name]Beck[/name])
[name]Coralie[/name] [name]Diane[/name] (nn [name]Cora[/name]/[name]Cori[/name])
[name]Elaina[/name] [name]Joyce[/name] (nn [name]Laina[/name]/[name]Lainey[/name]/[name]Lainey[/name] [name]Jo[/name])

Can’t wait to hear what you think!!!

[name]Griffin[/name] Colane (nn [name]Griff[/name]) - Like it although does remind me of [name]Harry[/name] [name]Potter[/name]! Also like nn [name]Fin[/name] for this. Not sure about mn
[name]Beckett[/name] [name]Ward[/name] (nn [name]Beck[/name]) - Liking the first name and nn for it but mn reminds me of hospital!?
[name]Coralie[/name] [name]Diane[/name] (nn [name]Cora[/name]/[name]Cori[/name]) - [name]Love[/name] it - very cute
[name]Elaina[/name] [name]Joyce[/name] (nn [name]Laina[/name]/[name]Lainey[/name]/[name]Lainey[/name] [name]Jo[/name]) - [name]Love[/name] it - my friend has a daughter named [name]Lainey[/name] [name]May[/name] so love the nn too!

Great names and they work together really well!

[name]Coralie[/name] is sort of the only “odd” one. I do love the name, but it’s perhaps a bit more whimsical than the others (and definitely frillier than [name]Elaina[/name]). I think I could better see [name]Corrina[/name] or [name]Corrine[/name] in this group.

[name]Griffin[/name] Colane nn [name]Griff[/name] - I adore [name]Griffin[/name]!
[name]Beckett[/name] [name]Ward[/name] nn [name]Beck[/name]
[name]Coralie[/name] [name]Diane[/name] nn [name]Cora[/name]/[name]Cori[/name] - beautiful, and [name]Cora[/name] is so pretty.
[name]Elaina[/name] [name]Joyce[/name] nn [name]Laina[/name]/[name]Lainey[/name]/[name]Lainey[/name] [name]Jo[/name] - not my style, but still pretty.

I agree that [name]Coralie[/name] doesn’t seem to be in exactly the same style as the others, but it doesn’t stand out and it is beautiful, so I wouldn’t think it would be a problem.

Thanks to each of you for sharing your thoughts! It was helpful to hear what you all thought of the names individually, and as a sib-set. For those of you who mentioned that you didn’t care so much for [name]Ward[/name] - it is to honor a couple Edwards in the family. We thought [name]Ward[/name] flowed a little better with our last name wich is two sylables.
Thanks again for the input!!!

[name]Griffin[/name] Colane (nn [name]Griff[/name]): cute but I prefer the nn [name]Fin[/name] for [name]Griffin[/name]…someone suggested that earlier…thought it was genius (:
[name]Beckett[/name] [name]Ward[/name] (nn [name]Beck[/name]) : handsome. love this name
[name]Coralie[/name] [name]Diane[/name] (nn [name]Cora[/name]/[name]Cori[/name]): very pretty. love the nns [name]Cora[/name]/[name]Cori[/name]
[name]Elaina[/name] [name]Joyce[/name] (nn [name]Laina[/name]/[name]Lainey[/name]/[name]Lainey[/name] [name]Jo[/name]): not much of a fan

I love the name [name]Griffin[/name] for a boy…I am not too crazy about [name]Beckett[/name], though. And I also like [name]Elaina[/name] for a girl - very pretty.

[name]Griffin[/name] Colane (nn [name]Griff[/name])

I don’t like griffin because of the gargoyle connection but [name]Griffith[/name] is okay and I think that Colane is overkill, [name]Griffin[/name] [name]Cole[/name] is enough

[name]Beckett[/name] [name]Ward[/name] (nn [name]Beck[/name]) This is a nice combo but a girly nn.

[name]Coralie[/name] [name]Diane[/name] (nn [name]Cora[/name]/[name]Cori[/name]) Nice combo no need for a nn and if you were going for a nn I would choose [name]Coral[/name].

[name]Elaina[/name] [name]Joyce[/name] (nn [name]Laina[/name]/[name]Lainey[/name]/[name]Lainey[/name] [name]Jo[/name]) Nice combo, nice nn of [name]Lainey[/name]

[name]Elaina[/name] [name]Joyce[/name] is my pick

[name]Hi[/name]! I can see [name]Griffin[/name] and [name]Beckett[/name] together (I think they’re perfect!), but can’t easily see [name]Coralie[/name] or [name]Elaina[/name] with the boys’ names.

Good luck!
