Go with two ll"s or it looks like a spelling mistake. I vote [name]Giselle[/name].
[name]Love[/name] [name]Giselle[/name]!! I, too, think that 2 ll’s is the most accepted (and more easily spelled) version. I personally prefer the flow of [name]Giselle[/name] [name]Fleur[/name] or [name]Giselle[/name] [name]Skye[/name] over [name]Giselle[/name] [name]Eve[/name] (I think it’s the vowel at the front of [name]Eve[/name] that makes the name blur together a little for me: Giselleve), but I think that [name]Giselle[/name] [name]Eve[/name] works well enough.
Congrats!
I voted [name]Giselle[/name]. While I like [name]Gisella[/name] for the more accessible nn [name]Ella[/name], [name]Giselle[/name] as a full name appeals to me more. [name]Giselle[/name] [name]Eve[/name] is very pretty!
I voted [name]Giselle[/name] for a couple of reasons:
I know the model uses the spelling [name]Gisele[/name], but despite that [name]Giselle[/name] looks more familiar because of [name]Michelle[/name], [name]Danielle[/name], [name]Gabrielle[/name], etc, and, the one person I’ve known with this name (a little girl) spells it that way!
[name]Gisella[/name] reminds me too much of [name]Gisela[/name] - I knew an older [name]German[/name] lady with that name, and it was a hard G like in gun, [name]Gee[/name]-zuh-luh not Jee-zuh-luh, not the lightest name…
I prefer [name]Giselle[/name] [name]Fleur[/name] with sisters [name]Saskia[/name] and [name]Milla[/name]. [name]Giselle[/name] [name]Eve[/name] runs together for me and sounds like, “[name]Giselle[/name] Leave”.
I met a toddler named [name]Giselle[/name] (not sure of spelling) the other day, her mother didnt endear me to the name since she kept screaming it [name]IMO[/name] I think it would be best with a two or three syllable mn because it tends to run into [name]Eve[/name] and [name]Sky[/name] but not so much with [name]Fleur[/name]
I voted for [name]Giselle[/name]!
I would vote for [name]Giselle[/name], as that is the spelling I prefer, but I really don’t care for [name]Giselle[/name] [name]Eve[/name]. There isn’t a goo flow for me and I am not a fan of the last letter of the fn being the same as the first letter of the mn. It makes it sort of sun together for me. I considered choosing [name]Gisella[/name] [name]Eve[/name] instead for that reason, but I still think the flow is off. They are both beautiful names, they just don’t seem to work together for me.
[name]Giselle[/name] [name]Skye[/name]… is slightly better.
[name]Giselle[/name] [name]Fleur[/name]… is my favorite of the three. But really it would depend on the ln as well, how it all flowed together.
I love [name]Giselle[/name] the most but I vote [name]Gisella[/name], because I think it works better with [name]Eve[/name] as the mn.
Thanks so much everyone, please keep the comments/votes coming…as well as middle name suggestions.
I LOVE Giselle, and you can use the nn Elle which I think is so sweet. If you like Eve, but need something that might flow better how about Giselle Evette?
